These are absolutely stunning cards. I like the colors, and the small booklet inside is extremely useful for beginners. The cards are well-made and easily shuffled. The matt finish makes it easy to handle. NO, the cards do not appear to be photocopies, and NO, they are not large. It is stated in the description that these are PLAYING CARD SIZE. As a result, I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. If you want LARGER CARDS, don't order decks that are the size of playing cards. Only if you're rough with your deck will the edges of the cards tear. To get a read, you don't have to slam tarot cards together like the Hulk.
They appear to be photocopies that have been blown up. I'm undecided about keeping them. The finish appears to be adequate. The box and matte coating are what you're really paying for. Because the picture is so low quality, you could easily make a free version with a laminating machine. I'm going to return these. I usually use US Game's mini version, which is definitely smaller than the size you get here, but if you prefer a larger mini size, this size might be for you; however, the picture quality is like a blown up photocopy that's been laminated lol.
When I first saw the deck in the box, I was skeptical, but it turned out to be fantastic. They have a matte finish to them. I'm used to coatings that are shiny and smooth. However, the matte finish held up well while shuffling and fiddling with the deck. br>br>The box is very sturdy, which is exactly what I need for my living situation, so I appreciate it. The artwork is stunning. It appeals to me greatly. br>br>It comes with a book that explains the fundamentals of each card; if you're a beginner, Biddy Tarot's website has more in-depth descriptions of the cards in both upright and reversed positions (I'm not paid to say that). I'm just a big fan of the site. ) br>br>Because I work in a small space, the size of the cards is more convenient for me. Overall, I give it a 5 out of 5 rating. Love it.

It's difficult for a beginner who is unfamiliar with the cards to figure out what each card represents. I dislike the small booklet and wish it came with something a little more detailed and thorough for the price I paid; I'll most likely have to buy a separate book to better understand each card as well as figure out what each card's name is.

The back of the card has a beautiful mandala that also appears on the packaging - a strong, flip-up To make accessing your deck simple, use a top box with a magnetic closure and a ribbon on the inside. br>br>This deck is not a standard tarot deck size, but rather a playing card size, which I prefer because it's easier to shuffle and transport. br>br>Just make sure you get a more in-depth book or download the Rider-style guide. I felt a strong connection to these cards almost immediately. For the first couple of days, I was worried that I wouldn't remember to keep them with me, but it quickly became second nature to grab my cards whenever I did something. When I was shopping for cards, I was particularly drawn to these. I was hesitant to buy cards online, but I could sense a connection even before I did. I've only recently begun to explore my psychic side; I've recently experienced a traumatic event that has brought this aspect of my personality to the forefront. I've always had a sixth sense, but I've never used it or tested it to see how far I could go. After everything had happened, I could feel that side of me becoming more powerful. These cards have been instrumental in helping me better understand that aspect of myself.
I did some research and came up with a comparison. This deck is a tad smaller than I expected, but that's entirely my fault. The cards feel great in your hands and are easy to shuffle thanks to the beautiful packaging. The only thing I can think of that might be a little annoying is that the cards stick to each other, so you have to be very careful when shuffling them.
