Thank you for asking such a good question and for taking the time to do so. The RWS system is used to build the deck. Some of the names have been changed to reflect a more modern perspective on the energy contained within the cards. Example. The Empress's name is changed to Earth Mother, and the Emperor's name is changed to Sky Father. The Sage has taken the place of The Hierophant. This resemblance can also be seen in the Court Cards. The Page represents innocence, the Knight represents motion, the Queen represents the heart, and the King represents the spirit. These were changed in this deck to reflect the various aspects of ourselves that make up our whole, as well as their level of energetic spiritual development. The qualities each card possesses are based on the traditional RWS system, which is explained in detail in the book. I hope this information is useful. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our company.
No, this isn't a typical situation. It's possible that you'll want to return it and get a new deck. It appears that you were given a deck that was cut incorrectly.
Thank you for contacting me with your query. I'm currently working on some new Amazon photos, and I'll keep that in mind as I shoot them. Thank you very much. Selected User Reviews For Naked Heart Tarot Deck by Jillian C. Wilde - Black Tarot Deck Tarot Cards with Guide book - nature & animal tarot cards for beginners & all level tarot cards deck Readers
I fell in love with this deck the moment I saw it. It's almost entirely made up of animals, with only a few humanoid figures, and it exudes a warm, compassionate energy as well as a charming sense of humor (the seven of cups, for example, makes me laugh aloud). It conveys information in a straightforward but caring manner. I really like how the artwork is a mix of almost photorealistic animals and black and white line drawings of their surroundings, as well as elemental/esoteric symbols. The cardstock is thick, matte, and silky, and the cards are a slightly smaller size, which makes shuffle easier for my small hands. It comes in a sturdy box with a ribbon pull to remove the deck, which is matte finished and beautifully designed. The guidebook is the same size as the cards, but it's a little chunkier. Approximately 3/4" thick! with a wealth of information, including fantastic little tables for each of the majors that list all of the symbolic elements and their meanings. I could go on and on about how stunning Jillian Wilde's work on this deck is. It has quickly become one of my favorites, and I believe it will be a deck I keep to myself because I have a special relationship with it that I don't want to share (I only have one other deck like this in my collection of 30). I adore it, and it perfectly reflects my personality and resonates with me in a way that no other song has ever done.
The guidebook is beautifully designed. The cards' backs can be flipped over. The Majors add depth to readings by including an extra card. The box in which the cards are kept is attractive and well-made. One thing to keep in mind is that one of the cards I received had an ink smudge print on it. However, when the creator saw my post on social media, she offered to send me a replacement card right away! She was very gracious, and it is clear that she is proud of and loves this deck, and she wants her customers to feel the same way. br>As a three-year reader, I can say with certainty that the Naked Heart Tarot is well worth the money. You will not be sorry if you purchase this deck if it appeals to you.
I respect your talent. it would take a lot of talent to make a complete deck I like the ideas and illustrations in the guidebook, but I don't agree with them. The images are difficult to decipher intuitively and provide few hints about the cards' meanings. Choose a different deck if you're a beginner who wants to learn the traditional meanings or lay the groundwork for reading any deck of cards. You'll have better luck if you're a card collector or have read cards for a long time.
I preordered the deck in the spring, and it was delayed due to poor print quality (which I'm sure many publishers would have released regardless). An unexpected turn of events forced me to make a hasty decision, and I was worried about the deck catching up with me. Jillian contacted us, and after exchanging a few emails, we determined that it would just make it in time. Jillian emailed me again a few days later to inform me that Amazon had received the deck early and that she would cancel my preorder if I wanted to order with them instead, as it would ensure I would receive the deck in a timely manner. That service alone, coming from the deck creator no less, deserves 5 stars. br>However, it's also a lovely, insightful, and easy-to-read deck. The cardstock has a velvety smooth matte finish and is of good quality. Working them in will take a minute, but that's the cost of good cardstock. br>Overall, the artwork is quite good, and I particularly like the large amount of white space. It has a simple and straightforward feel to it. Some cards are more powerful than others, just as they are in any deck. The Three of Swords is without a doubt the deck's most attractive card. Pamela Colman Smith's original is iconic, and subsequent decks have nearly identical copies. Naked Heart's 3 of Swords pays homage to its grandmother while remaining an entirely separate entity. I'm sure there have already been tattoos made from this, and if Jillian wants to print money, she could do so with this design because if you put it on a tshirt, beanue, tank, phone case, or anything else, people will buy it. Even those who believe the word tarot rhymes with carrot or that Naked Heart is a hair metal band from the 1980s or a sequel to a David Cronenberg film will buy it. It's that good of a work of art. br>The Court is also very well done, with a sense of unity and consistency that I admire. I'm usually annoyed when classic arcana titles are replaced for thematic reasons, but it doesn't bother me in this case, and the new names flow quite nicely. br>The deck shuffles beautifully and, at least for me, reads in a straightforward manner, which I prefer. The directness softens when read in conjunction with the accompanying guidebook definitions, allowing your mind to wander a little more. Even if you're a seasoned reader, you'll want to go through this at least once because there are some nuances and insights that I never considered before. The guidebook also serves as a catalyst for the deck's healing properties. br>Even though that guidebook appears to be small, it is jam-packed with information. I'm not a crystal worker. I've tried before and failed miserably, but Jillian's methods make me want to give it another shot. Lumina and The Wild Unknown have both been used to compare this deck. I can attest to the fact that each of the three decks is truly unique. Yes, they're black and white with splashes of color (the colors of Naked Heart are the most vibrant), but their energies and voices are vastly different. Wild Unknown has a rougher edge to it, and many of the cards felt like first drafts to me. Lumina's guidebook (in my opinion) seemed to be aimed at privileged white women, and despite the beautiful cards, it felt a little vapid and soulless. Naked Heart had the clearest voice, the most vibrant colors, and the most - Even if not every card works, the guidebook is a good place to start. For me, Strength and The Chariot are the lowest points - the cards that are able to - The 3 of Swords, Ace of Wands, SkyFather, and 9 of Pentacles are all mentioned above. are absolutely stunning. br>Though I believe that every reader does themselves a disservice by not learning on an RWS standard deck, Jillian has provided enough instruction that someone who has never handled the cards before could buy this deck and be reading from it, but only this deck, in a short time. I think this would make a great second or third deck, or a supplementary first deck, but I understand why people don't want to start with RWS. It wasn't the case with my first deck. My newly acquired second deck, on the other hand, was not. br>Overall, Jillian has created a unique deck at a reasonable price; decks of this caliber typically cost $60. It's a vibrant, sleek, and lovely little deck, and Jillian genuinely cares about her clients.
from the artwork to the interpretations, the booklet, and the packaging I can't say enough good things about this deck!.
This is my preferred method of transportation. I'm a big fan of decks. Some reviews complained about the cards' white areas, but the white areas are meant to allow the Reader to focus on what the card is trying to say in the main overall picture without being distracted by other things going on in the background. br>The answers in this deck are straightforward, but they can be blunt at times. When I need to learn more about myself, I appreciate that. even if it kicks me in the shins Knowing the plain and simple Truth, in my opinion, is preferable to waffling on about it.
