My two children were given it as a gift. To give my niece who is 5 years old, and to my nephew who is 1 year old. The child's ability to cope with it really dictates her fate. I'd like to share my Although my nephew enjoyed playing with his, he isn't able to open all of them with ease. My daughter can open all of them with a little effort, whereas my 5 year old can. Though, I think it's a great find, one for which they will surely grow to love

It has been 18 months since my son was born. In the 14th month of his life, I got it for him. His age was a good match for this toy, and I predict he will continue to enjoy it for years to come. The kid loved opening and closing the easy locks at first, but he eventually learned to open the other locks as well, so he now shows me where the animals are hiding and we're trying to learn numbers from them. With any toy, he takes a break from it for a few days or weeks, and then he gets interested in it In terms of developing skills, I would say the game is appropriate for ages 1 to 3.
A single board is all that is needed.

In the end, he managed to figure out how to. My son, who is 18 months old, received this as a gift. All of the doors are opened and closed by my son quite a bit, and he seems to be pretty entertained by it. Luckily, he could figure out how to open them all pretty quickly, but he has little interest A design is printed on paper and adhered to the sides of the wood to create the design on the outside. Despite the small size and light weight of this cabinet, it appears to be well made and sturdy. There are several places on the paper where it is already pulling away from the wood and one corner was ripped, so I gave it "It's Okay" instead of "It's Great" because the paper is already coming away from the wood in some places. I presume that the product arrived damaged in cellophane, which was sealed in plain sight, so this is a quality control issue on the manufacturer's end. I would consider purchasing this as a gift if you are worried about it peeling off because it is just cosmetic. I have seen other customers complain about the same thing so I would keep this in mind if you are buying this as a gift.
My stepfather loves it as well. We give it to our stepdaughters, ages 7 and 9, and they still love playing with it. It is also a delight to see our younger nephews when they come to visit. Besides helping fine-motor skills and hand-eye coordination, it is also a fun game to play. In the past few weeks, I have ordered again for one of my residents. In my current job, I work in a nursing home that has some clients with Throughout his life, this gentleman has worked in construction. He loves to build things, take them apart, and understand how they While his disease has advanced, he is unable to do what he once did, but this doesn't stop him from tearing everything apart he can find. This board is made for children, but I explained that it was one of my kids' favorite toys when I showed it to him. His interest was piqued by the fact that he loves children. He began handling the latches on his own without being prompted in any way. He tends to gravitate to the board whenever he is looking for something to do with his hands now that we keep it in his room. We fully recommend it for anyone who shows an interest in it and look forward to ordering it again if any of our other residents will benefit from it.
This toy is so fun! I've loved it since the first time I saw it. Usually it is recommended for up to 3 years old, but I decided to get it for my 12 month old before I spent time and money making a busy board that he wouldn't be interested in. Despite being made of hard plastic, it is very well made and all latches are secured very securely. There is also no small parts that might come off or The only latch my son has not been able to open and close is the blue house with the blue latch (lock #2), but I think that's mostly due to the lock itself being a little stiff and hard to turn on our board. It'll loosen up more with more use. In the past few months, I've become a big fan of Melissa & Doug Whenever I have purchased a toy from Doug, it has been better than I could have anticipated, and the same is true for this toy. It is well.
This brand has always given me peace of mind because I know it is made with safe materials and nothing dangerous like lead paint is in their products. I believe it is worth spending a little more money on toys for children to ensure the ones they get will not expose them to toxic chemicals through their play. The fewer toys that are made with safe materials will be more valuable to me than lots of toys made with unsuitable The less you have, the more you have. As far as quality is concerned, this product is no different than that of all of the Melissa and Doug products I have purchased. My youngest is less than 18 months old and captivated by this toy, but she lacks the ability to open or close mechanisms on the busy board itself, which is a major disappointment. I am looking forward to using this busy board in the future. This particular toy is likely to be fun for her to play with in the next six months once she becomes used to having locks and latches! At the moment, she just enjoys watching me show her how to open and close the door on the toy. She attempts to mimic me but fails. The toy only keeps her busy for seconds at a time at this.
My favorite puzzle of all time! Unlike other puzzles, my child does not like other types of It doesn't take him long to get bored with them. It was no longer a question of whether he would enjoy this puzzle he loves playing with doors and knobs and trying to figure out how things work. Although it has been in his collection for a few months now and he knows how to open the locks, it is still Whenever he sits in the high chair or in his learning tower, he asks for it. As much as he enjoys unlocking the locks, he also enjoys closing them, and we're now using it with him to learn colors and animal sounds. The toy he enjoys so much is built with such a sturdy construction that I know it will provide years of entertainment for him and his younger siblings for many years to come.
A very good little activity toy for a lot of fun. It was a huge hit with her. It seems to be getting easier to get along with her and she's already 16 months old. Her own self-latching mechanism allows her to open and close all doors and windows. This toy keeps her busy for 30-plus minutes each time I give it to her because she is a hyper girl. It has a few sharp latches that could injure an infant under 2 years old, so I would recommend that adults supervise them while using this product.
Despite the fact that doors could be opened and closed, my son enjoys it. Nevertheless, the quality isn't as good as it could be. An 3 year old toddler who is trying to improve his fine motor skills finds it frustrating to work on this. Occasionally, doors are difficult to open / close because there is a problem with the locks or it takes a lot of strength to open / close.
The one she is watching is a puzzle type activity that she likes a lot right now. As soon as she saw it, she was immediately attracted to it and actually locked and unlocked As she knows what she's looking at and makes the proper sounds for each animal who is familiar to her, there are distinctive animals behind the doors as well. She might be able to pick it up if they take care of it, since it is If she drops it, I know it will severely hurt her foot. She can carry it, but if it falls, I can see how painful it will be. Even though I was a bit skeptical about the price, I found it to be worth it considering how much she likes it.
