Questions & Answers

What is the magnetic field of the balls north and south? When they are together, do they push one another away?

Definitely, the spherical magnets have areas in the north and south. In the presence of the same poles, they will repel each other, while in the presence of opposite poles, they will attract one another. We invite you to reach out to our Learning Resources site under the “contact us” page if you have any other questions.

In February, I will have a grandson who will be 7. How does he benefit from this? Will he be too old to enjoy it?

The magnets seem interesting, but at 7, I'm not sure how long he would continue to be fascinated. My grandchildren enjoyed it when they were younger.

Does this sound like it would be ideal for a preschool that specializes in special education?

The answer is yes, in my opinion. I think it would be a really great tool for the classroom it contains some small pieces that will require supervision, but other than that it would make a great addition to any

Magnets that are of good quality
4/5

My two small children are in fifth grade science class and I have two small kids. For COVID 19, I ordered these magnets for my kids in order to introduce them to magnets during the break. Magnets come in a variety of shapes and sizes that my girls love. begins again at some point, I plan to use these in my classroom for demonstrations on magnets around fifth grade. My rating is four because, while it's sturdy for home use, I don't think it will stand up to wear and tear in a The materials will probably be stored away from my students and will only be used for demonstrations since 10 year olds are notorious for destroying.

It is a good quality, not a great quality
4/5

As he was obsessed with magnets, I got this for his birthday. He also got iron shavings
Wonderful, with extras. He does enjoy them, but hasn't played as much as I expected. A powerful magnet I bought to put on my refrigerator (the small round magnets).

Having fun while learning at the same time is the perfect combination
5/5

No one was more excited to try this out than either of them It could either be my son or me! It was nice to have a kit with different ideas to try with the magnets and to even have a craft that could be used to create The set was fun to play with as suggested and my son liked to go around the house looking for metal or gold, as he put it. We played around with it a bit and showed him different ways to play. In addition to watching and playing, my one-year-old and six-year-old children were very interested in the movies. A lot of fun AND learning can be found in this kit. Those two things are perfect together. Thanks to Brilliant Minds and Learning Resources, I was able to try out this system for free.

The best way to learn and have fun! Magnetism is one of my son's favorite subjects, so I bought him this set to teach him about it
5/5

I decided to go ahead with it based on my son's maturity level and interest in science, but it is recommended for ages 5+. You'll find a good variety of magnets in the set and some ideas for using them on the other page. He has been enjoying it a lot! In addition to myself, I have a 2 year old daughter who is obsessed with the set and asks to play with it almost every day. Our team has tested some of the ideas in the kit as well as added in a few experiments of their own. Playing with the entire set has been a blast for both kids and they have learned a lot about magnets!.

It's really great to work with your brand/store! Anyone searching for a variety of wonderful learning toys should check this out! As you know, I have only used Amazon for household purchases since COVID so I can't remember exactly when I purchased this (I have had Amazon for these purchases since COVID)*br>I try to take my time when writing reviews for new items under a new label
5/5

Since we found Learning Resources through a friend, I purchased this as one of the first items I bought from them, and so far we have probably purchased 25 more since! In terms of what we get for the price we pay, I am pleased with it, but I was also not expecting professional grade magnets or items that would never break I do not have unreasonable Our family has truly enjoyed the items we've purchased from
This company thus far, including this one. I will continue to use these products in the future. As my son plays with the included magnets as well as those we have around the house, he is fascinated by how strong or weak they are. There is absolutely no doubt it is worth the money and any parent with young children should buy from Learning Resources.

The girls who are stemming! I love incorporating stem and science into our everyday living, especially when the kids think they're just playing with toys
4/5

During their exploration of the positive and negative poles, the children picked up the disks and pushed them around. I did have to return one magnet (the horseshoe shaped one) because my three year old dropped it immediately when he was playing with it, but I would recommend this set!.

I just don't like the magnetic chips, everything else is fine
4/5

The magnetic chips look like little plastic disks with a thin magnetic wire wrapping One of my children put their fingernails on the wire of a couple of the chips and easily popped off the wire. As soon as we got the set, some of the wires were pokey. Despite the set's items already attached, the magnets do work well. It should be noted that the magnets are not easily compatible with EXTRA items not included in this Metal items such as large paperclips and nuts, as well as bolts that were heavier than the magnetic disks could sometimes be unable to be picked up by the magnets. It was better to use small paperclips. However, the magnet was unable to pick up the toy car, since it had a diecast metal body. In addition, I should mention that our kids were slightly confused by the fact that the plastic water bottle cap was not magnetic but the plastic chips were. During a performance of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, we sang the lyrics "You've got to look a little closer to find out what you want to know," and the kids noticed that the plastic chips looked incredibly Having the kids take part in the event was a rewarding experience.

It was a broken Horseshoe magnet
3/5

Although the horseshoe magnet that came with it was broken, I would have given this 5 stars. The paperclip experiment disappointed my 5-year-old since he was eager to execute it.
