Painting brush-like but a little bit more subtle. Quite a few things are included in the kit!
This is possible, but it seems unlikely. As a starter kit, it's not up to professional standards. that you consult with the local forensic lab if you have any problems. Experiments with unusual materials would be enjoyed by most.

The whole thing was a As for the reviews, we didn't read them since we paid extra for expedited shipping. There was no feather in the brush. Instead, it was the kind of brush kids use for cheap water color paintings. It would have been impossible to lift a single print due to the dust. It looked like a tiny magnifying glass and was of no use. I don't understand why this kit is so expensive. There is no way I can give it even one.
In addition to the poor ink pad, the kit leaves smudges and fingerprints indistinguishable from the original surface, which is the whole point. In addition to that, I also ordered a legit fingerprint ink pad from Amazon at the same time, so we could use that to get As well as the ink pad, there is a small dusting pad (the size of a postage stamp) and tape that can be used to "lift" latent fingerprints, and a paper that can be used to stamp them. It is pointless to follow instructions. Fingerprint differences, get a basic FINGERPRINTING ink pad, a dusting kit for a few dollars from the dollar store, some transparent tape from the dollar store, and some index cards, and you will have an easier to use version of this kit.
The 'dusting powder' looks like silver eye shadow and didn't stick to the prints, but it colored the glass silver. He was so excited to use it but it didn't work at all. In fact, the brush is a paintbrush (with a short stick), and my son hasn't touched the kit since he set it down. As far as he was concerned, it was okay.
This is not a good buy. It is not worth the effort. The package is fantastic, but the content is terrible. Dusting powder was not present, and no ink either. The book was intended to be used in a Boy Scout merit badge lesson, and so I The price was very low - it was a good deal As well as being cheap, it was also good. It is recommended to use a magnifier, order volcano dusting powder, and use a fine hair brush to dust the black prints. Also use white scotch tape to make the black prints stand out. This is a waste of time and money.
Although it is advertised as a fingerprint kit, it is more of a toy than a real kit. My son (9 years old) told me he'd be able to use it for his science fair project. It is also not easy to wipe away the ink from your fingers. Initially, my son thought it was really cool but lost interest pretty quickly when it wasn't very easy to get his.
It seems like a decent, well priced item until you try it out. This powder does not work properly and is almost nonexistent. Quite a few fluids are involved in the link. It was a total waste of time and money. I'm glad I didn't spend more than I did. Christmas can be very difficult for children when they are disappointed. In this case, the gift was received in an unexpected way.
It was not the best decision for me. We bought it as a Christmas gift for our 6 year old who is obsessed with police or detectives. got so excited right when he got it, but then lost interest quickly, and I thought it would have been much better if I had come up with it It may be too early for my son, but I was not impressed with his performance.
When the kids opened it, of course, the powder went everywhere, and they didn't want to use it after it had all gone, and there was actually not a lot of it. I never liked this at all since my kids like to imagine themselves as spies.
