I play with it with my children 2 and 8 as well. The drum is easy to hold and play for my toddler. There is a high level of quality in this product. It's still looking great after all the abuse my toddler takes it through. He drags it around and bangs it on the floor, but it holds up. As you can see, I took the video after my first year of owning it and it still looks brand new. Taking photos of this might be fun as well! It looked like a lollipop to my daughter, so I took photos of one of my little ones holding the drum. In my list of gifts that my friends' children would love, I have this on the list.

My friends all have musical talent, so when I suggested the idea of encouraging their son to play the drums, they were thrilled. In our house, it's just a matter of putting it away somewhere high when it's not drumming There's no need to worry about being hurt by this drum it's light enough for a child to lift, and the mallet isn't too hard so you won't be severely injured if you're accidentally hit As it's durable and still being used after 3+ years, it will be passed on to my younger son who is old enough to use it once he is old enough to use it himself.

he loves it so much! My son has had so much fun with this simple toy that I can't believe how much he's enjoyed it. What an amazing experience. It was when he turned 15 months old that I bought it for him. Although he does not bang it as much as he used to, he still bangs on it every day, albeit not for as long as before. It makes me particularly happy to see my son play the drum because he shows such a joyful expression on his face and moves like he's doing it. With a big smile on his face, he bangs on the living room wall while laughing or grunting as he does so. Instead of smiling, he sometimes gets a very serious and intense look. He stretches his face out while whacking the drum hard. I get a lot of enjoyment from that expression with my husband. In the end, I'll say that our babysitter, who has 8 nieces and nephews and is a music teacher, is so impressed with how my son reacts to this drum that she purchased one for a niece's upcoming first.
