Toddlers are marketed as the target audience for this. We have two instruments that have small parts missing. The only way our daughter would not have choked was if we had seen it happen. We will sand three other instruments before she can use them because their edges are very rough. In questioning the seller about a partial refund on the broken/unsafe toys, I did not receive a reply. The experience has been extremely dissatisfying. It's impossible to return the entire set to get a refund because our daughter loves the safe instruments so much.

Their smiles bring back happy memories for them when they see it. Many of the students would clap or dance to the music, so we bought these instruments to keep them entertained. Many people feel that life has passed them by now they have the opportunity to be a part of the band! It has made life a lot more bearable. Certainly, they will be put to good use and I am grateful for their high quality.

Instruments that are of very high quality There are, however, way too many wood pellets in the maraca, so it barely makes any noise. The wooden balls on the smaller drum fell off almost immediately too. Considering the price was over $30, I would expect better quality. Two of the instruments are not working.

Similarly to other reviewers, I broke some of the instruments I received, specifically the ones with the small beads. The drumming sticks that are provided are also potentially hazardous to children under the age of four. In the case of the beads, I removed them from my smaller children before it broke, reducing the choking hazard, but after just minutes of gentle play it broke in my seven-year-old's hands. As well as the drumming sticks, I removed them In addition to the percussion instruments, he has found other items to bang on that are safer. Despite rough play, all of the other instruments held up very well! There has been jumping on the tambourine multiple times and it has been used as a step a few times. But the recorder has been used as a sword a few times, too, and it is.

I already had some basic percussion instruments from my childhood, but I wanted a full set similar to what I had when I was a child. I liked the packaging of this set The instruments are both very robust. The sets are not painted, so after heavy use there will be no chipping paint problems. There is only one improvement I would desire - possibly a little more clarity in the tones. You won't find the sound great on the recorder either.

As I work on creating an environment for my daughter that is Montessori-inspired, I love the fact that the items are As a music fan, I am really excited to have a regular schedule. It's a hit among the older generation. Those are the only toys my ten month old will eat! There are none left except the ones you knock with your mallet, so that is the only one she has. Even tottering the flute is within her abilities. Music is something she adores and these are very smooth, good quality instruments that I think she will use for a long time.
