Hello and good morning. The fabric doesn't come off the chair, according to the supplier, Redmon. Zilbex Customer Service thanks you for your interest.
No (at least not for the time being). The umbrella, on the other hand, is sliding out.
Yes, that's ideal.
Depending on the size of the 5-year-old, it might be a little tight.

I was quite pleased with the product when I received it. It appeared to be sturdy and the right size for my 21-month-old, who weighs 29 pounds. She fell in love with it right away. Anyway, I got the impression that the umbrella was a bit flimsy right away. I was so frustrated because it wouldn't stay open at all. After much attempting, my husband finally cut the part that connects the stick to the umbrella, which solved the problem. So we'll have to wait and see if it holds up. I'm sorry, but I don't think it's worth the money.
Ideal for backyard play, ballgames, camping, and role-playing. It's simple to climb into for small children. The umbrella folds up quickly and fits into a pocket. Color is a lovely pink.
This chair is ideal for use at the beach. My daughter sat in it for two hours straight, just relaxing and drinking from her bottle in the cup holder! The umbrella slides right into the chair for complete shade and folds up into a convenient sling bag with the chair! I would recommend it to anyone who has a child! A wonderful baby shower present.
We've now purchased two of them. Our two-year-old fought him for the first one, which was for our son. It's built to last and has a locking mechanism to keep it from collapsing. The umbrella is truly the cherry on top. It provides shade and is detachable, allowing them to use it even when it rains. As our nieces and nephews grow older, I'm sure we'll be buying more for them as gifts.
I bought this for my daughter and we were able to play a season of soccer with it. After a year of use, the item is falling apart. Definitely worth the money.
My four-year-old great niece is a natural navigator. We loaded it up with educational apps, and it keeps her occupied for a while.
