There's enough room. It's a sturdy piece of furniture. When a child tries to stand up and leans on the chair's arms for support, the chair will topple. But since kids quickly learn not to do that, it was never an issue for me.
The back measures 24 inches in length. Seating for children is 10 inches off the ground.

I washed it first, and it's a little big for my two-year-old, but he seems to enjoy it. I got the yellow bee and the pink butterfly, which are both very cute and colorful. I took them on a trip, and they were light and easy to transport thanks to the carrying bags with handles that came with them. The back has buttons that make it more difficult for it to close by accident when he drags it around. Then, because we're in the middle of a COVID19 shutdown, we've been using it to hang out in the backyard, where we've been leaving it out (in the shade) and it's been working out well. When he sees adults sitting in beach chairs, he likes to put his cup in the holder and sit in it. I did wash it thoroughly before using it, as something on the surface bubbled out when I sprayed it with water; I'm not sure if it was a coating or soap or what.
It's very simple to set up, and I like that it has a locking feature to prevent it from closing on him. It fits perfectly in the carrying bag and is extremely simple to repack. The only problem is that I noticed a hole in the cup holder when I first looked at it after it arrived. I didn't try to get a refund because I didn't have time to replace it before our trip (we left the next day). For the price and because it's Melissa, I'd recommend it. Doug, I'm disappointed by the flaw, but other than that, it's so cute and easy to put back in its case that I'm satisfied.
It's something she really enjoys. She sits quietly, toy-playing or dog-playing. She is very proud of herself for being able to get in and out on her own. She enjoys being able to swing her feet once she is seated. For her, I bought one of my Best Buys.
This chair is a favorite of my two-year-old son. It's a huge improvement over the saucer-style chair we bought him previously. It closes securely and is simple to get into and out of. It is not tipped.
This is a fantastic chair. I bought it for my three-year-old nephew before he went on his first camping trip, and he adores it. It's super cute and comfy, and it fits into the carrying case with ease.
I have a two-year-old niece who I adore because she is very comfortable to sit in and I know he enjoys it as well.
My children adore this chair, but I wish the cupholders could be adjusted because none of our toddler cups fit in the small cupholder.
I bought it for my 2-and-a-half-year-old grandson to take camping with him, and he absolutely loved it. There's even a cup holder for your convenience.
