I bought these chairs for my daughters, who are 5 and almost 1, so they could have "their own" chairs out on the deck and I wouldn't have to worry about them falling off a regular chair while we were enjoying the back yard. My 2. For the better part of a week, our 5-year-old enthusiastically carried hers everywhere (sitting in it and then getting up, holding it by the arms with her tush still touching the seat as if the chair were a newly grown tail), and she still sits in it frequently a month after we bought it. My nearly 1-year-old son year old was hesitant at first, but now she can climb into and out of the chair on her own (with supervision; (See also the following comment). It fits her perfectly (she's of average height and weight). I was surprised to discover that the chair is lower to the ground than I had anticipated - perhaps 8" - So, while my older daughter will probably outgrow hers in a year, I won't have to worry about my younger daughter tipping it over while simply sitting. The only disadvantage of this chair is that it is very light. Any child who is small enough to climb onto the seat face first and then turn around to sit properly will require the chair to be stabilized by an adult or older child while the child is seating herself so that the chair does not tip backwards or sideways. The same can be said for a small child reaching far over his or her arm (for example, to pick up a toy from the floor). But I can't really complain for such a low price (roughly ten smackeroos).
This chair was purchased for my granddaughter, who is two years old. She made use of one of my in-laws'. During her visit, her in-laws had She refused to get out of it and cried when we left because she wanted to keep the chair. br>br>The chair is made of sturdy plastic and is shaped like an Adirondack chair, but with proportions appropriate for a small child. Instead of bugging us to keep her in our laps while we sit in our chairs, she now sits in that chair. This chair is designed for young children between the ages of two and four. It will be a hit with your child or grandchild!.
This chair is made of durable materials. It's low enough to the ground for my one-and-a-half and three-year-old grandchildren to crawl into, and it'll last for years. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Chairs of excellent quality and durability. However, the seller did not ship them as quickly as I had requested, and they arrived much too late for the purpose for which I had purchased them. So, in order to meet my deadline, I had to buy a set from a local brick and mortar store. I got a refund when I returned these.
I already had one for my oldest, but I had to get another because my one-year-old was envious. They both adore these chairs and sit in them whenever we go outside.
It was very cute and just the right size for my grandson's age and size; he used it both outside and inside, and it was well made.
He's a rambunctious young man who enjoys climbing into and out of chairs. Unfortunately, pressing on the chair's arm causes it to fall to the side, so I had to anchor it every time he tried to sit down. So, as much as he loved it, I couldn't risk him attempting to get into it when no one was nearby. It's returning to its previous position.
The chair is cute, but it isn't very sturdy.
