The train with a Christmas theme was very well done by Lionel. It looks like a great collection of cars and engines. The engine is made of metal and feels heavy, which is pleasant to feel. The cars are made of plastic and feel cheap, but are effective for the task. It is a Chinese set. The train that we are building is our first and I hope to spend many years setting it up and constructing it with my children. We assembled it yesterday, and both my kids have been playing with it or talking about it ever since. I am not thrilled with the initial purchase cost, but if it lasts 10 years or longer (and I believe it will) then it will only cost me 25 dollars a year to create amazing memories with my kids, so I am glad I bought it. It's definitely a cool thing to see!.

In order to ensure that it would fit around my large tree, I bought some extra straight sections. Getting back into Lionel (I had an old Lionel as a kid, but passed it on to my grandchild) was a real treat. When I was searching for the straight track, I discovered all the other add-ons available, such as the track, the signal, and lights. I now have a set of childhood dreams which I have spent more than I would like to admit. If you're into trains, Lionel is unbeatable! Each and every piece is well made and you can find it at any toy store. My living room is a train track as big as a trailer and I feel like a kid all over again. It's a great feeling to have my living room transformed into a mini-world. It is a pure joy to be alive. The Lionel set is my favorite! I highly recommend it!.

It is a very pretty train set, which is really nice, but it lacks any Bluetooth capability. In my attempt to get the Bluetooth, I emailed the company, but I was unable to reach them. As well as the Amazon sending me back to the company to replace and request missing part. That takes a lot of time. As far as I know, I have no way to complain about this lack of.

Excellent starter set to get you started with Lionel. I am on my second set of this train, and everything has been working great. I had to exchange the first one since it was having problems controlling speed. It seems that the 2nd set also has the same problem. As the train speeds up, it takes off at almost full speed after a few notch at slow It then slows down and returns to its normal speed after moving the control a little more. It has been a few years since I bought it so will contact the company directly to see what they can do.

Since I have two young kids, I was inspired this year to do a traditional model train display around the Christmas tree. Based on my research, Lionel's Winter Wonderland seemed like it would be an ideal fit. In fact, this is my first model train purchase (besides this Christmas train, I don't expect to have any interest in model trains ever again), but my dad briefly had a Lionel model train when I was a kid so I knew Lionel was a reputable The experience proved to be a great one for Lionel I found exactly what I was looking for on this train. I was really impressed with how they pretty much hit every single thing. It is of high quality in the first place. There is a considerable amount of quality in the train, especially in the engine. Despite its high quality, this train is good enough for a qualified model train hobbyist, but ready to roll With the run package it's easy to get this running for someone like me who simply wants to open it up and use it. This will only be out of the box for Christmases in the future, so I want it to be simple to assemble. There are all the parts that you need in the box (aside from batteries for the remote and a screwdriver to install said batteries) and it takes about 30 minutes to assemble To set up, it takes 45 minutes. There is an O-scale track standard for Lionel I have a white Fastrack track that is 16 gauge that is quality material (it works together securely, so you don't have to worry about loose connections), easy to connect, and can be extended easily as you add I really like how the sounds sound. Using the remote control, you can choose among three sound options There is a horn, sleigh bells, and announcements about the conductor. As mentioned, the horn is the stereotypical, comforting sound of the train horn that everyone knows and loves. Simply pressing the horn button is half the fun since I like that sound (and the remote is responsive, so. The button responds to quick presses or prolonged holding, depending on whether you are holding it down or not). The holidays were a good time to purchase this from Amazon. In its Lionel box, the train came sealed, but there was no plug. In spite of the box stating that it comes with an expandable play accessory, it did not come with I put new batteries in the remote, but the remote does not Turns on but doesn't work. Using my smartphone, I was able to connect my train to it through Bluetooth. There is really no smoke effect on this game. You have to look really hard for it. We figured out how to use the instruction manual, which was not very clear to first-time electric train owners. The quality of construction is solid, making it an excellent purchase. Due to the fact that I now have to repair or replace the remote as well as acquire the plug, I gave it 3 stars. The game expands.
