There was one missing piece of track, but I had the piece of track from another Lionel set, so Amazon discounted my train set due to its incompleteness. The Santa Fe super Chief made by Lionel makes a quality product that I can't praise enough! Your room is very well illuminated at night because of the heavy engine and the lights on the passenger cars. I would highly recommend this product. As you can see, I added some additional track and a few box cars to my set.
