Questions & Answers
I've tested it on Bachmann EZ Track as well as standard N gage flex 80 track, and it works fine on both. I'm not sure what you mean by EZ connect cars, but there is an E-connect car available. They're called Z Mate II Couplers, and they're knuckle couplers that should work with the knuckle coupler that comes with this engine. I hope you found this information useful.
All you have to do is put it on your dcc track and connect it to your system, and the sound will turn on automatically when the system turns on. You must go into the cvcs' to change the different sounds if you want to change the sound. I hope this has been of assistance.
Without a doubt. Simply replace the default 3 with your desired address and you're ready to go! It runs smoothly and the sound quality is excellent.

First and foremost, I haven't been a fan of Bachmann's Nscale locomotive line, as I own one of their older dash-type locomotives. I prefer Kato and Atlas Nscale but after seeing and reading about Bachmann's latest release of Nscale locos produced after 2018 with DCC/sound I decided to give them another chance. br> I prefer Kato and Atlas Nscale but after seeing and reading about Bachmann's latest release of Nscale locos produced after 2018 with DCC/sound I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the GP-80. It's a good thing I did! Excellent paint and graphics, as well as a smooth-running drivetrain and excellent sound. I've been running it as much as possible and have about 3 runs under my belt already. Even after 5 hours of use, it still runs like new. It stuttered at first, but after a quick clean of the wheels, it ran smoothly. At crawling speeds, it's not as smooth as Kato or Atlas, but it's close enough. As of now, I'm pleased to see Bachmann has stepped up their game and produced a far superior product; I also run this MU'ed/consist with an Atlas GP-100. 35, and they practically run at the same speed, which is nice because it eliminates the need to set cv's to match speed. br> If any issues arise, I will let you know. br>br>Video Note: The loco's rear light flickers only in the video due to the FPS, but it is not visible in person.
