Be wary of the buyer! These pylons were purchased in pairs; Both units were defective, as neither could rotate

I put both of them through their paces with two reliable power sources. However, it appears that the Amazon seller is pawning- off refurbished merchandise that hasn't been tested.

Junk! br>It was replaced, and the replacement was also a piece of junk. Neither of them were successful. Gearing made of cheap plastic.

When I took it out of the box, it didn't work at all. The motor can be heard running, but it does not rotate. I wouldn't buy a Lionel mechanical piece unless I saw it in action first. They aren't well-made in the least.
