TMCC Direct Lock On

One TMCC center can control up to 99 locomotives ( serially in numerical order), or up to 300 on the legacy system. To prevent noise from outside, you require different blocks of track to be insulated. It would be helpful if there was a Lionel Track Power Controller ( TPC ), especially in a large layout.

It seems to me that the third wire is the sensor and trigger to measure In what power supply do you run your train? I haven't worked on my train in a while. There is a Lionel 90 in my collection.
