After I crimped some ring connectors on the two ends of the train that connect to the transformer, it was ready to run.

Purchasing this component was an error on my part. A POWER connection to the TRACK was all I needed, not I have not yet found a use for it, but it still might be useful.

Let me see what I can There is a Lionel power wire for accessories in this package. Clips seem secure and they did just what they were advertised to do.

Power packs from can be used with this code. A very good product. It can be applied to older power packs as well. Unlike the copper wire used in old tube track sets, this wire is much more flexible.
