No problem, EZ track will work fine with it.
There is a new issue of The Express out now.
If you want to have dcc setup, it would be best to setup those two together and to possibly add a booster or two also to keep those If you are building a large scale layout, I recommend getting the bigger setup rather than this one as boosters will be needed, but for small layouts like this it is a good starting point. If this setup were to be used, both tracks would need the same power supply. The throttle and the throttle cable would thus have to be connected
Then, if I understand the question correctly, you are asking for the following information Autoregistration of an AR1 with the Zephyr Xtra *br> *br>If you use an AR1 with the Zephyr Xtra, we recommend setting Option Switch 18 to Closed (OPSw18 = "c"). By adding option switch 18, the DCS51 booster short circuit shutdown time will be extended from 1/8 to 1/2 seconds. The AR1 is allowed to change the power polarity of the train just before the DCS51 booster reacts to the momentary short caused by the train passing over the reversing section gaps when this Option Switch setting is increased to 1/2 second. If you want to change Option Switch 18, you must PRESS SWITCH PRESS 1 PRESS 8 PRESS C Right lower corner)

Once I had it connected to my Bachmann Ez-Go It is possible to customize the bell toll speed of the Bachmann Alco S4 by adjusting the CV settings. This application's DC controllers can be used as jump controllers, which is something I really like. My current configuration allows me to control both speed and direction of 3 engines at the same time. With the Zephyr Express and two Bachmann DC controllers as Jumps 1, and 2, I am using a Zephyr Express. Additional functions, such as bell, horn, and other sounds, can be selected easily by moving the keypad between primary control and jump 1.
A comprehensive and easy to comprehend manual would be very helpful to me as a new user of DCC. My MTH DCS trains and, of course, my DCC trains all benefit from the features. It could not be any better! I have not tried the competitors' DCC controllers, but I could not be happier!.
purchased this item on the promise that DCC controlled model trains would be easier to use. In most cases, it met those promises. The problem is that I needed to program some new accessory decoders for Kato turnouts using Configuration Variables (CVs) and the software appears to lack this capability. In addition to the CV programming features it offers for mobile decoders, Digitrax advised me to use NCE command stations for accessories (stationary is another name for decoders). This is fine since I have NCE equipment and am already familiar with it. The Zephyr Express ZEPE is one of the best command stations if you do not need CV programming specific to accessory decoders.
A Digitrax Help Desk representative has been contacted. We tried the suggestions they offered. We did not succeed. Customer Support has advised me to have the unit returned to the Repair Department (said the switch may be faulty). Digitrax just replied to my email. 60 and up It takes 70 working days to complete this task! It is best to return before leaving. Wow, it's hard to believe. There are no defects in this It can only be concluded that so many of these units need to be repaired that they are unable to do so. br>I recommend finding a different.
I just began using it for DCC is still a new concept to me. Using this unit, you can choose which direction to run.
The Digitrax is an upgrade to Bachman EZ. It provides smoother control and is more reliable than its predecessor. In spite of its light weight, the unit is of.
The HO layout has a great addition with this product! The package was well packaged and the delivery was fast.
