The only cars that will fit are sporty models. Cars such as race cars, hot rods, and funny cars get snarled up. We have not yet figured out what a good efficient way is to make it work with our drag loop track. My grandson likes it well at 4 years old.
It is the perfect addition to my son's collection since it completes his Hot Wheels city set.
Those are my 4 favorite books The year is Having fun building hotwheel cities in his room is a favorite past time for my son, who is the biggest hotwheel fan. He now has this 'super fuel station', a neat addition to his collection. I bought him it for less than ten dollars, but it's not as exciting as I thought it would be. I have also yet to check whether I got a flaw in the toy but the car is supposed to shoot out when you pump the gas three times and there is a plastic piece inside that kept sticking, which caused our car to stay inside and not shoot out. I'd say it's ok all in all.
I liked the price, but the product was not quite what I expected. I'm still cool with that. I am sure it will still be fun. Nevertheless, it took me a long time to figure it If you pull the gas handle it shoots out, I get it, but you must back your car in so that it is on the bottom. It does not work on the top, and you have to have it in the right spot for it to shoot It's just for you to stick the car up there. There is a little ramp that you can use to push the car off. The ramp seems to be a part of the building. It is of course still played with and enjoyed by the kids.
It's a great addition to the Hot Wheels city and/or the OR tracks for the price. Trying to jump a car into the burger can be fun for both kids and adults. In comparison to other Hot Wheels playsets, my 4 year-old goes back to this one time and time again. Several minutes here and there is all it is capable of providing, not hours of fun.
The item I bought got stuck several times when I first got it. The tunnel will not be able to accommodate it. In the beginning, I couldn't get it to work, but after a couple of uses, it did.
This is a clever idea, but spiral ramps are narrower than cars and they often cause cars to jam at the top rather than exit smoothly as they can if they remain close to the center and do not.
There is no reaction when you pull back the lever three times. To get it to latch, you have to physically reach in and pull the launch mechanism after the third pump. For my three-year-old, this is a big disappointment.
