Unfortunately, I don't know the answer. If I recall correctly, the factory screws functioned.
While I am not 100 percent on this, everything I read suggests that it would not be a good fit
You may not have the exact Traxxas 4 x 4 I have, however I had the Traxxas emaxx 4x4 that it worked with
Selected User Reviews For Traxxas 3632A Blue-Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum Caster Blocks (pair)
It is one of the few parts where aluminum is more suitable The plastic blocks of many of the casters broke and bent the pins, so I switched There is a possibility that other parts may fail in this upgrade. When you turn when driving, you actually see these from time to time, but I didn't expect you to see them when driving. The aluminum parts I would recommend buying are few and far between. There are a few that stand out. One of the aluminum steering sets from Traxxas is the aluminum steering set. RPM plastic bearing carriers have worked well for me. Bearing carriers can be aluminum, but I have had success with aluminum There are some parts that Traxxas makes in aluminum that are great A bumper made of aluminum, for example, is not something I would use. It's nice to have bumpers that are flexible plastic. The aluminum caster blocks have kept their shape very well, and I haven't had to replace a pin or one since upgrading them.
I lost the original plastic ones within 60 seconds of breaking them Purchase these along with the Traxxas 3636 Anodized 6061 - You'll be glad you did The aluminum steering blocks come in T6 grade. Since 2016 I have run them as a set with a beefier bumper (RPM) and they have served me well (and my son too)!.
I broke the original plastic ones within a week of using them. It's been going strong for the last few months. To make these steering blocks fit into this item, I sanded down the aluminum steering blocks. In any other case, steering was impossible due to the tight connection. The best material for your project is aluminum.
It is imperative that you upgrade if you intend to run into anything accidentally. A castor block and a wheel carrier are the first to wear out in jumps and curb checks while kingpins are bent first. You can prevent broken kingpins and bent pins by upgrading. This product has been verified to fit Traxxas Slash VXL 2WD and Traxxas Stampede 2WD.
I was impressed that it was attached by two screws, and it looks good as well. The product looks impressive, but I don't know how durable it is. I speed run no bashing so I can't test the durability of this. The photo presents it as more shiny than it really is.
They look amazing and are one of the first upgrades that you should make to your Traxxas Stampede since the stock nylon ones will snap very easily if you land incorrectly or hit something like a bump making their price worth it because they are easy to install and they look cool.
In addition, I am certain you won't regret purchasing this -- it's a must. There is a video I have. Despite the big jumps, it still holds up.
Other than tiny c clips that are tedious, this is traxxas, nice and pretty easy to install. It works just like the OEM stock plastic pins but is not as fancy as the thru pins that come with it.
