Yes, I did it exactly like that. The FOX body lacks an antenna hole, but the range is identical to the original body with the antenna protruding from the top.
The only holes are for the body mounts.

Any painted body is a good deal, but one that looks this good is even better! This is the body for you if you like slashes and you like the fox brand. One thing that worries me is that the white is so bright that I'm afraid it'll scuff easily, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Last but not least, this body does not come with any pre-installed accessories. body post holes that have been reamed I have a reamer, but if you don't, I recommend purchasing one along with the body to make things easier.
I didn't like how flimsy it was for the price, it makes a lot of noise and rattles around on every bump, they should reinforce the backing a little.
You could also use a drill, haha.
It's sturdily built, tough, and stylish. You can't go wrong with any Traxxas product!.
It was the perfect fit. It looks fantastic. My son's original body had been chewed up by a friend's dog, so this was the perfect replacement. I prefer the new design to the old.
It was very easy to install the audio speakers.
Great body, the best Slash Body in my opinion. I was able to install the On Board Audio speakers on it because of the pre-drilled holes.
I'm going to use it for my 4x4 slash.
