I really wanted to like it, but the first run was a disaster

I used WD-40 to clean mine. Like I do with all of my plastic X-rays, I'm 40 years old. This mount is one of the Maxx parts that has been made more flexible and less prone to breaking. The RPM brackets, on the other hand, have a different type of plastic that is much more durable. The flexibility does not seem to be affected by WD. Needless to say, the first time I drove it in the truck, it broke. Save money by purchasing the stock ones and coating them with WD-40. They should last 4 or 5 bashing runs at 40 degrees.

My second attempt resulted in a breakage. Although I am rough on my truck, it does not appear to provide any additional durability over the stock option.
