I'm not sure about the summit, but they work great on my revos and have withstood a lot of abuse.
They're made of a different material than the stock ones, so they won't fall apart as easily. I haven't broken a single one since switching to RPMs.
No, but I'd get both front and back because the other end is going to break.

This is a significant improvement over the stock model. I was able to break a stock A-. I was only on my second or third trip with my car when I broke my arm. I had these ordered ahead of time, so I didn't have to wait long to replace the broken arms. These arms are a little more pliable than stock, so they're less likely to break in a crash. They've lasted so far on my car after a lot of abuse!.
They absorb shock and, unlike aluminum, avoid other "upstream" failures. Add in the various color options - and you've got yourself a winner. not to mention the fact that they provide a lifetime guarantee against breakage! I have pretty much everything RPM makes between my MERVs and Stampedes! All I want is for them to make chassis. I have five MERVs and five Stampedes in my family of four. I've only broken ONE RPM part (a front A-frame) in all these years. arm flying off a cliff/jumping into a tree). They replaced it without question after I sent it in. The bottom line. Before purchasing an OEM replacement part for ANYTHING on an RC, check to see if RPM makes it.
More precise fit and beefier than OEM, plus color options at a great price.
revo and didn't buy it to race, but rather to use as a backyard basher with the stock A-frame. The arms began to snap. All of the A- grades were replaced. I used RPM parts on my arms and am pleased with the results. On Slash, I have RPM Parts (almost everything on this truck broke until I put RPM on it LOL), and a VXL Rustler, and neither has ever broken during normal wear and tear.
They are well-fitting and do not break. My old ones broke pretty quickly, but these have already withstood a lot more abuse in sub-zero temperatures.
If you hit a tree or a friend's ankle at high speeds, you'll wish you had a set of these. Your friend, on the other hand, will wish you were a better driver.
