It was simple to install on the motor and appears to be secure. If you want to connect to the receiver box, you'll need to buy a Y connector because the connectors are designed to connect to the speed controller, which you can only connect to one at a time. The fans do not move a lot of air, which is to be expected for the price, but I intend to replace them anyway. Much better fans can be found on Amazon for around 16 dollars each or two for around 30 dollars. So I'm primarily interested in the heatsink and mounting capabilities. So, if you think this will suffice on its own, you'll be disappointed because you'll have to spend an additional $5. Just to be able to plug it in and get it to work costs ten dollars right away. I'm sure the provided fans will provide some relief from the heat, but I live in southern Texas, where summers are scorching. There were no problems because everything worked properly.

It was a cinch to use. The fans stopped working after I accidentally snagged the wires. It was my fault; it turns out the heat sink is perfectly adequate on its own. I would have given five stars if the connector part had been larger than my receiver would have allowed, so I had to cram them into place.

I used this on a redcat volcano epx that I replaced the motor and esc on. The only thing I recommend is that you flip the fans over so they pull the air away from the heat sink and that you get a single heatsink and fan if you're buying for a redcat volcano. I ended up removing a fan and turning the base of the fans sideways to fit.

After reading the reviews, I decided to buy one anyway, and I'm glad I did. Since I installed these fans, my VXL Rustlers have not overheated on 3s. I did make a hole in the heatsink underneath one of the fans, and it works fine. The dual plugs were a minor annoyance, but they were quickly resolved.

It significantly reduces the heat generated by my motor; however, the wire was too short, so I had to extend it. The receiver box on my Traxxas Rustler was not reachable. It performs admirably. Drill holes where the vent holes are on vented 550 motors to allow the motor to self-vent. It will cause more harm than good if it is not done correctly.

This was purchased for my 4x4 Rustler, and it significantly reduced the temperature. My only complaint is that the wires connecting to the ESC are a little short, which I'm hoping will not break.

It's a simple connection, but I wish there was a Y-adapter included. I could do without the two fans and possibly a few zipties, but for the price, I can't complain about the performance.

Also, it's a very long-lasting product. I had no problems with it, and it did a great job of keeping the temperature down as I upgraded my battery to a higher 3 cell 40c rating, which is pushing it on my Rc, and it performed admirably. It's also waterproof, which is convenient because I don't have to worry about it getting wet. I'm now able to run my Rc until the batteries die. Overheating is no longer an issue for me.
