Great gear box. I am very pleased with it. Get a trampoline made from all aluminum if you do a lot of high jumping. It does a superb job of keeping things cool when I use it for speed runs.

Control of quality is lacking

Although I wanted to like this, the case halves did not seal together, nor was the bottom flush with the top. It was the same issue I noticed in another review. A defective item was returned.

I received a brand new product

Neither the fit nor the assembly were problematic for me. There was no shortage of items. There have been reports of people having trouble closing it. There was no problem with that for me. Then I guess it'll be considered a lucky day. What a great idea!.

The design is nice, but there are a few small changes that need to be made

The gears didn't fit quite right after putting them in as there was a slight gap. In addition, I had to make some adjustments to my chassis in order to get it to fit correctly on my 1/10 scale Traxxas Rustler.

I could not have asked for a smoother and quieter ride

My expectations were not met by this gearbox's lack of noise. As part of my Proline Pro2 build, I built a new transmission using this case and mostly stock Traxxas parts with We built it a little cheaper and in a more quiet way than the Proline Pro Transmission. You should use thread lock on the screws that hold the aluminum A-frames The chassis is in contact with the arm plates.

In addition, This switch has just been installed to allow me to fit larger With my stock rustler gears, putting them in the transmission wasn't a problem at all. In other reviews, people have said that they were unable to close it, but what I did was remove one baring from it and BOOM! It fit perfectly.

I like it, but 1 change would be good

It is good It remains true. If the base motor adjustment screw slot had been a little longer, I would have preferred it. My 1/8 scale motor fit into the slot quite easily, although I had to open it quite a bit to fit the gears that I use. The product is fantastic, but there is more to the story.

Having this gear case in my Slash 2WD looks great. In addition, it helps dissipate the motor's heat, as well as providing a more rigid and sturdy feel. Composite plastic is a much better choice than stock material!.
