It remains cool by keeping the motor in an extended wire, but you do need to get an extender

These motors are compatible with brushless trucks that use Velineon motors. As it would not be able to completely wrap around the motor, I do not think it will fit on 2wd models. One of mine is mounted on an Emaxx 1/10 that I converted, and man oh man does it fly. There is a lot of air moving with the fan! During testing, my batteries stayed below 180 degrees F. I run a pair of 3s batteries. I was very happy with my purchase!.

The accessory fits my motor perfectly, but I wish the lead had been a few inches longer so I could connect it to my radio receiver without using.

Fan operation is affected by motor magnetics that have been brushed

It works only in certain positions rather than all positions due to the magnetic characteristics of the rc motor. This greatly reduces its functionality. It could potentially burn out if the fan motor gets too hot. An indication of this restriction should be included in the listing, so customers know exactly what they're buying. Fans with space limitations can reduce the usability of RC cars, which is especially relevant if the car has space limitations. There will not be a second purchase for me.

It is not suitable for two-wheel drive rustlers

A traxxas 2 wd rustler will be fitted with this. A second place for attaching accessories is not provided in this model. As a result, this is pointless.
