Once it flies for approximately 20 minutes, you can change out the battery and charge the first one at the same time
As a matter of fact, the S40 helicopter can be played outdoors, as well as indoors. Nevertheless, we recommend that you play indoors if you are a beginner in order to prevent the motor from dying.
There is also a rechargeable battery, which lasts quite a while. The remote appears to use two The two I put in July are still working. I am not sure how long they will last.
I would like to know the size of the S40 Helicopter which is 9x5. Thanks. Three times four. Approximately 6 inches

The toy is very stable and the control and flight stability are outstanding. I own four small helicopters and it's the most stable of the bunch. The helicopter is extremely easy to fly, making it an excellent choice for first time RC helicopter enthusiasts. It loves to land at the dining room table and take off throughout This model comes with an adjustable speed control that allows you to go up or down or in any direction you like. Especially perfect as a gift for someone learning the basics of taking off and landing on a helicopter. The product is excellent.
3/25/2008 Update Company continues to contact me, offering more $ to take this review down. Here's an update. I have been contacted by a company that wants to buy me out. I feel this is unfair to me. They just said if I take down the review, they will give me a gift card. Reviewers are paid to take down reviews before I purchase items, so it corrupts the system if someone is paid to do so. A part of the item broke There is a problem with the flight. Without warning, it will go full power without warning and take off. It takes a long time to take off and stays at low power. had been torn off and the screws had been pulled out of the plastic with stripped threads. We got a bad one hopefully Amazon will send us a new one.
It's pretty amazing how this helicopter drone can be controlled remotely. Using the controls were easy and intuitive, and 4 AA batteries were required. I was up and running in minutes. In terms of the helicopter itself, it can be recharged and has a decent amount of flying time, although I'm not sure how many minutes it has. You should probably use it indoors because slight breezes and drafts will cause it to lose track of its thrust. You won't have to worry about it damaging anything in your house because it's so light. You can use it whether you're a child or an adult.
I like to fly the helicopter a lot, I find the controls to be very comfortable and easy to use. It's a top quality, very well made item that's well constructed, I crashed a couple of times getting use to it and all was fine, no damage. This foot part is where the spear sighs and he comes to feel There is a battery, a backup propeller, and two side propellers, all in a box.
Price is good, and shipping is.
In a nutshell, We are having so much fun playing with the drone helicopter. I love flying this helicopter with my kids, and it is very easy to fly. son, who is 6 years old, has no problem controlling it. I can fly it way above the trees in my backyard it's actually higher than those. It charges quickly. The toy is very good all in all. Every kid will be fascinated by this book.
Prices and durability are factors I consider when reviewing products. Syma is also a favorite manufacturer of mine. With several rc helicopters in my collection, both indoors and outdoors, I'm sure it's fair to say that I have a pretty large collection. As a provider of high quality, smooth flying helicopters, Syma has a wide range of helicopters aesthetically pleasing and of high quality. Despite the fact that the S40 (this product) is a great flyer, it is not that durable for 70 dollars. However, it is an aircraft designed for indoor use, and although it flies like a dream inside, this design prevents it from being a 5 star aircraft. With a 1. 25Ah lipo battery, the helicopter comes with two 220mah lipo batteries. A micro JST connector measures 25 microns in size. Only one may be charged at a time, and the aircraft must be installed for charging to occur. you're into RC hobby and happen to have some extra 220mah (or slightly less mah) lipo batteries lying around by accident, you won't be able to use them because most likely The cable connecting the battery and the power cable inside the helicopter has to be withdrawn and handled quite often (for example, while switching out A cable should never be held or secured with solder joints, so there is no strain relief on this cable. It connects directly to the circuit board with two solder joints one for the negative wire and one for the positive, red wire. Anyway, solder joints are inappropriate for holding cables. It turns out that after enough battery swaps, the joints broke, obliterating the aircraft (and its charging capabilities). Luckily, I solder for a living, so it was a fairly simple fix, but it should have never happened An example of poor design can be found in the searchlight on the nose of the aircraft, which is secured internally by very weak Due to the fact that you will most likely make contact with the floor after your first crash, your search light led will be recessed internally. By removing the weak piece of white tape and placing a piece of gorilla tape, I was able to fix the problem. You should now be able to keep the light in place when you swap the battery, or crash for that matter. Unless you want to do this, there is a possibility that you can simply swap the batteries and that led will get loose, no crash required. It is important to note that this flyer is being marketed as both an indoor and outdoor product. You should just avoid flying outside when the weather is bad. There isn't enough power in it to deal with a blowing In addition, you'll ruin it pretty bad since the blades are thin and any crash will definitely leave an indentation. I think this toy aircraft is fun, and the idea behind it is good, but for $70 you get far less than I think. Considering what I know about this, I'd be willing to pay $45 for it at most, especially since I can name a few indoor flyers that are similarly good, if not better, for your price point *Syma, if you're reading, please take a look at upgrading the s40 so that the price tag of 70 dollars USD is justified. It would be nice if you could add more solder to the solder joints, provide a strain relief loop for your power cable that comes from the aircraft, and toss out There should be a 25-micro JST connector to enable the batteries to be charged at lipo battery charging stations (2p spade), and the search light should be mounted on the nose of the aircraft with a better adhesive. In the event of a crash, the instrument simply vanishes within the aircraft. A three-star rating overall.
The controls are very easy to use. I like that it comes with two batteries, so I can change them after 20 minutes to a fully charged battery once the first one has been used up. Controllers like these are similar to those used on the Xbox. As a whole, I am very happy with my purchase, and I plan to purchase more from this company in the future.
For the first five flights, the product was successful in surviving normal crashes such as hitting carpet, couches, rugs, etc. However, there were no “bad” crashes. The heli hit the ceiling and crashed on the area rug in the last flight when the throttle stuck. As a result, when you try and fly the helicopter, there is a couple of second delay for all throttle operations. An engineer like myself thinks it may be a loose board component on the PCA or operating board of their computer. My solder joint is weak and I'm looking for a company to replace it and investigate why mine is not working properly In a nutshell, the conditions must be operational.
