Below is an explanation! Because I thought the kids would enjoy fighting over this product, I bought it as a "cheap" dirty santa gift. As a result, I removed it from the package to confirm it was working and was not some junk. In fact, it was not. Drones and RC helicopters of this type are cheap because they do not use unibody frames, which I think is the main advantage. It is possible to create a cheaper product that does not explode into a thousand pieces when it is crashed. A unibody frame eliminates the risk of the product falling out of alignment if combined with an outside sensor. After wrecking this thing, you should be able to fly it many more times. Due to the unibody frame and the rotor protectors, you can also bump into walls without crashing. There is no way to tell you enough how much I like the design of this product. I would love to have one for myself if it were still available. Now that it's no longer available, I have to admit that I regret leaving this in the dirty Santa The second drone I bought was awful and I've already sent it back to Amazon for return because it's garbage. I bought another one hoping for the same experience but no dice! I've already requested a return on the other one, which I will do immediately.
