Product Description

Wilson Marshall built the Atlantic in 1903 at the Townsend and Downey shipyard and had it designed by William Gardner and Frederick Maxfield Hoyt. When the three-masted schooner Charlie Barr and navigator and tactician Frederick Maxfield Hoyt set the record for the fastest transatlantic passage made by a monohull in the 1905 Kaiser's Cup race, they were accompanied by Charles Barr. Nearly 100 years have elapsed since the record was last broken.

There is a lot of quality in this To figure out the rigging, it took me a while. It would be best to check out the images online. The instructions are a little fuzzy. A huge benefit of this rigging system is that it can be tightened or loosened as needed. It has a really good look to Because they are packaged in such a way that they arrive creased. If they are too tough, I recommend sprinkling them with As they tighten up, the tension will increase. It is only the plastic of the life boats that I am unhappy with. It is a very minor issue. This is a worthwhile investment.

I like how it looks after you've assembled the pieces and rigging the lines. Exactly what I was looking for for my Nautical Theme Den. It was backed up by a remote controlled LED light.
