The moment I opened the package and saw this, I was very pleasantly surprised. In comparison, the plastic used in modern products is cheap, imported garbage, not designed or made in the USA. It is a beautiful model. It is a joy to see the details. It is a piece that will become an heirloom in my family. The pictures do not do it justice. The device is an expensive purchase, but if you are thinking about getting it, you should. There will be a lot of appeal in your room.
The package was made up of two boxes and a wooden crate. As it arrived, every part of the ship was intact. The break-in didn't cause any damage. As I watched the UPS guy drop the box on our concrete driveway, I watched it fall off the ring doorbell. On our fireplace mantel it looks absolutely beautiful. It will be a great conversation piece for a long time to come. But most importantly, it is well received by my husband.

In general, a good product well made, though the quality control was lacking. The crate was very well protected after it arrived. issue that I had was a piece that was missing on the front of the ship. The piece was nowhere to be found. My low rating is due to this reason. I would recommend that the merchant stands behind the products they sell!.

I am in awe of its detail and ornate decor. The model ship I have built is my fourth. While the 37" version of the Sovereign of the Seas is of course larger than this version of San Felipe (the same size does exist for it too), they are both works of art that could keep you sitting and looking at them for hours, just as these two do. It's amazing how well they did it. The clock will be placed on a display table with this one soon for all to see along with a beautiful clock I purchased recently!.
