The Curtiss P-100 is, in fact, a Curtiss P-100. The 40 Warhawk is a military aircraft designed by the United States of America.
On the wings, to be precise.
Under the wing is where the landing gear is stowed. They are not movable and cannot be extended to the landing position out from the wing, but they can be seen stowed beneath the wing.
It's a single-piece diecast metal model in 1 to 100 scale (15mm) that requires no assembly. The model can be carried in the box. They're for my miniature game Flames of War.

I've seen a few similar scale aircraft in the price range, and they definitely don't live up to this design, at least not for me. br>br> It has very well-made details, such as the texture of the fuselage, the material is metal (I can't say it's anything special, but I prefer it that way over plastic), and the color in general is well-done. Finally, a detail that I loved was the fact that the propellers can rotate, which was fantastic. The scale sticks very closely to the original, and I believe it could be a great option for collectors looking for a real plane. This is unquestionably the option for you if you're looking for something decent that reminds you of historical aeronautical marvels.
I wish I had the ability to provide a more positive review. For my 8-year-old son, I purchased a couple of these planes. old son. He is completely engrossed in World War II. But I had no idea they weren't meant to be played with. They are extremely fragile and easily break. These are beautiful, high-quality display models, but they are not suitable for children.
It's a great model, and it's exactly what I was looking for!.
This was purchased for an elderly gentleman who served in the Air Force and had flown planes. He liked it, but it was considerably smaller than I had anticipated, and the stand is extremely cheesy, but the plane itself is nice and heavy.
A nice Curtiss P-38 model. Except for the propeller, which is made of plastic, the plane is entirely made of metal. When taking the propeller out of the package, be careful not to break it.
I agree with the other reviewers in that the stand could be a little nicer, but it does the job.
This is a fantastic collector's item that has been well-built.
