Yes, all airbrush acrylic paints can be used with it.
It should work well with most paints, in my opinion. I'd say it's a tad better than the iwata cleaner.
This has nothing to do with their paint. It is very hot, but I haven't used it to clean an airbrush yet. In fact, it works just as well as their liquid cement at gluing plastic together.
It's made to be used with an airbrush. It would be faster to dissolve old or hardened paint with Tamils thinner. Because most airbrush thinners have a lubricant, the task (cleaning or dissolving old paint) would determine which one to use.

Nonetheless, I doubt I will purchase it again. Iwata cleaner is at least as good and costs about a dollar more for nearly twice the amount of cleaning power. br>br>Edited in August 2020: br>br>I bought a second jar and compared it to my Iwata airbrush cleaner for lacquer cleaning. Tamiya's cleaner is more effective when used in small amounts. From now on, when I use lacquer paint, this will be my first choice.
It's fantastic! However, your o ring will be devoured much more quickly! The workings and odors are both very strong. This will melt if it comes into contact with plastic! Remove the finish from your brushes as well. It's pricey, but it's well worth it, and a little goes a long way. You can reuse the solution over and over by letting the crud settle and adding a re fresher every now and then. I only use it for a deep cleaning soak and remove my o rings first.
Cleaning up after paint jobs is a breeze with this product. Just be careful how much you use it. When used in large quantities, this substance will dissolve the small rubber gaskets on airbrushes.
This cleaner accomplishes its goal of removing all paint from the airbrush, including old paint. Make sure there's plenty of ventilation when using it because it has a strong chemical odor. Also, don't spill any of the liquid on any furniture because it will remove the finish, which is what it's supposed to do, but it will also remove paint.
Cleaning my airbrush has become a whole lot easier as a result of this. Every paint splatter I've thrown at it has been easily removed. I've never used any other cleaners, so I can't compare it to anything, but there's no reason for me to try anything else at this point.
It's difficult not to award Tamiya products five stars. Most people who do hobby work seem to like Tamiya's products. Similarly, you may be able to find less expensive alternatives, but in some cases, it is preferable to have, on-site. The real deal, on the other hand. As a result, I went out and purchased this airbrush cleaner. All I can ask for is for it to arrive quickly and at a lower cost than my local hobby shop.
Airbrushes are disinfected with this product. Cleans paint off just about anything, including removing the color from the surfaces I'm trying to remove it from.
