Questions & Answers

With a Tamiya 74545, which airbrush quick release disconnect coupler should I use?

Use any quick disconnect that is compatible with Iwata airbrushes; I use the Grex AD9 and it works perfectly.

For this airbrush, what kind of hose can I use?

74506 Tamiya Airbrush Spray- Set of Attachments for Propellant Cans at Work

Is it possible to have a single or dual action?

There's two things going on here.

What if my airbrush blows air but doesn't produce any paint? Is anyone else having this issue?

That's a problem I've had in the past. It could be any of a number of issues. If you are able to access YouTube, I recommend that you do so. Troubleshooting an airbrush is demonstrated in this video. Regardless of manufacturer, the majority of aurbrushes are very similar. It's possible that you have too much paint on your hands. You either have a clog or your settings are incorrect; best of luck!

Tamiya has created a fantastic High Precision Airbrush
5/5

I really like this thing; it's a high-quality, well-designed, and extremely precise airbrush. On the front of the box, it says, "Ideal for painting fine camouflage lines and patterns. " If properly used, cleaned, and cared for, it should last a long time. Another fantastic Tamiya product, which comes highly recommended.

It's quite good
5/5

Brush with two tips. I bought this brush because I was looking for a. 2 for fine details and freehand work It performs admirably in this regard. The dark green was free-hand painted over the dark earth in this photo. br>It's just a personal preference, but I wish the trigger's spring was a little stiffer and the fluid control knob had a little more resistance. Also, due to the size of the opening at the bottom of the cup, it's a little difficult to clean, and the lid is a little difficult to remove. br>However, this brush is one I'd recommend. It can be impressive with some patience and a gentle touch.

Brush is fantastic
5/5

Love it. It also has the ability to withstand a lot of punishment. I'm going to use some paints that don't need to be thinned. Brushes that aren't used as often become clogged. This individual is not one of them. I don't do it on a regular basis. br>br> In an emergency, only. br>br>Excellent work. br>br>.

Airbrushing is fantastic
5/5

I bought this airbrush because I've heard Tamiya makes some of the best, and after only two weeks of use, all I can say is "Where have you been all my life!!" "This is without a doubt the best airbrush I've ever used. " My camouflage designs are fantastic. It feels good in my hands, and it's simple to use if you've used an airbrush before, but even a novice can quickly pick it up. Tamyia smacked the ball out of the park! 👍.

Broken
3/5

The package was damaged when it arrived. The tip of the needle is bent, as is the top of the fluid nozzle. I received this as a gift and am extremely dissatisfied with it.

This airbrush is fantastic for general use
5/5

It's not a Custom Micron, but it doesn't try to pass itself off as one. br>br>It isn't a H. This isn't S Infinity, but it's certainly the best general-purpose airbrush I've ever used. br>br> The paint atomizes beautifully thanks to the smooth trigger action. It has the ability to cut through thick paint, clears, and other similar materials. Also, it will spray ultra-thin paints like MRP without a problem. This is my second favorite airbrush, after my CM. br>br>Extremely strongly suggested.

For new AB students, this is a must-have
5/5

I don't want to use my badger 105 anymore the moment I try it on my hand. Oh my god, it's a masterpiece. br>br>It appears to be well-made, with a full polish metal craft and a clean cup. I'm not going to bring up the badger 105 cup because it's a flop. br>br>From the moment you press the trigger, you'll notice that it's soft and precise, and you'll have complete control over minor airflow and paint changes. br>br>For anyone new to airbrushing, this is a must-have item.

Iwata tool is comparable to, if not superior to, this tool
5/5

This is an excellent resource. Japan produces high-quality products. The only difference was that because of the, I had to thin out the paint a little more and use flow improver. Combination of two needles and nozzles. Aside from that, I'd say it's a good buy.
