They're very thin, so the width of the panel lines will determine how well they work, but I've used them to paint panel lines on 1/ 12 scale models. If you need a thinner panel line, there are smaller brushes available that are soft and hold a lot of paint; however, if you're doing panel lines, don't dip them too deeply.

Although this was created for art, some users have used it for make-up. It depends on the fineness of the brush you require. There are many artists who have found these fine enough to dot eyes and draw very fine lines on miniatures, but there are a few who claim it isn't fine enough for their needs. No, they're made of Nylon and aren't well-made. After the first cleaning, the outer covering begins to peel away. The wood is very soft, and the metal end piece does not stay in place, and the bristles do not keep their shape. I'm not going to buy anything else.

The Artisan Shoppe Series IV pack of three small brushes is the subject of this review. 3/0br>These are fantastic for the fine detail work that I do. br>br>I create small ACEO cards with a variety of subjects. Landscapes, animals, flowers, and other subjects that necessitate minute attention to detail. Acrylic, oil, and watercolor are some of the mediums that can be used to create artwork I've painted with a variety of mediums and have used the brush for each. ACEO cards are the same size as sports trading cards. 5x3. 5 inches. So you can see how small it is. br> br>br>In the two years since I began painting, I've used a lot of detail brushes. And I've been on the lookout for a better detail brush for a long time. This brush is ideal for fine detail. It's been a mission for me, and I've spent a lot of money on it. I even tried making my own detail brush out of the bristles of another brush, but it didn't work out. br>br> So far, these are the best brushes I've found for what I'm looking for. For me, these are ideal. br>br>The tip of the brush is a fine tip that keeps its point when wet and loaded with paint. br>br>I'm even buying an extra pack just to have extras and to last me a while. br>br> br>It paints smoothly and has enough flex to paint a straight line. br>Not a single bristle has fallen out! br> The handle is extremely comfortable to hold. A pack of four comes in a box. br>br>For a newbie, they're a fantastic deal. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. They appear to be four of the same size, indicating that they are spares for when one is worn out. It's not quite a disadvantage, but it's good to be aware of it. Although there were no brush protectors on the brush, I was near the bottom of the pouch. They most likely dislodged themselves during the journey. The brushes are wonderful. They've lasted a long time and have seen a lot of action. The bristles don't fall out of shape. I've purchased several different brands of detail brushes in the last six months. Until I bought these, they were all terrible. I adore them and plan to purchase more when the occasion arises. I was doing a two-tone color on a model kit I was working on, and this paint brush worked perfectly for the area where the two colors met. I didn't need to use any masking tape; just a dab of paint on the brush and a steady hand did the trick, and it was very easy to clean. I highly recommend this brush for those super small areas or spots to paint. I'd buy these again if I ever needed more. Thank you very much for the paintbrush.
I'm currently working on a project that requires a lot of small details with acrylic paints, and I was getting frustrated with not being able to control the 3-D effect. 4/0 liners or the softer 3-inch liners I have 4/0 rounds, and I decided to give them a try, and they are fantastic! The bristles come to a razor-sharp point, but they're not floppy because they're short. They spread well when filled with water, so they're ideal for the 'watercolor' effects I create with acrylic. I've also used them to make dip pens with liquid acrylic ink, and the flow was very consistent. Yes, you'll have to dip your brush in paint every half inch, but that's to be expected with a brush this size; they hold up well to being cleaned on a silicone nubby mat between colors; the ferrules are secure; I can hold them easily even on bad carpal tunnel days; and they came with plastic tubes and a zippered plastic pouch to keep the bristles protected. Overall, I'm quite pleased. I'll definitely be ordering more of this brand's sizes and shapes!br>PS: The millimeters are marked on the ruler used for scale.
These brushes are a complete nightmare. The size of the tips varies. Bristles strew themselves about in all directions. The length of the bristles varies from person to person. I sent back the first batch of brushes I received from this company, hoping it was just a bad batch. The second batch I received was just as bad as the first; you might get lucky and get a good brush out of the four, but for the money you'd be better off buying just one good brush. This has left me feeling extremely disappointed.
The tips do not stray and stay in place. I've started painting by numbers and completed three 16"20" canvases so far. I mostly used 3/0 and 4/0 brushes throughout the painting. D'Artisan brushes are on their second shipment to me. Not because I require them, but because I would like to have them on hand in case I require one. I've only used a 1 3/0 brush because they've held up so well. They're absolutely incredible. It's so comfortable to hold, and the balance is perfect. br>br>Do you think you'll be making only 4/0 packages? For me, it'd be ideal!
