The jar is made of glass and has a removable rubber cover. It makes cleaning a lot less difficult. Plastic is used to construct the lid.
Yes, but I would suggest half-filling the container with water to dilute the strong effect of any solvents sprayed inside.
It should be able to do so without any difficulty.
It is made by Iwata. So, of course, an Iwata airbrush will fit in there.

This is a must-have item for airbrush maintenance. I would have given it five stars if it came with more than three filters (which filter the spray that deflects out of the top of the pot so that paint doesn't get blasted all over the room) and I couldn't find any replacement filters. You can probably get them to last a few weeks to a few months each if you clean the filters with water after each painting session (depending on your paints and how much you use the pot), but what do you do when they're all gone?.
This is a high-quality item. Easy to assemble and clean, with a heavy base and matte rubber-covered glass. "Oh no, the filters are small, and there aren't enough!" say those who object. "Anything that absorbs any atomized overspray particles, such as spongey insulation or eva foam, can be used to make filters. " When cleaning out the airbrush or holding the airbrush in between sprays, this is a great tool to have.
My airbrush has found the perfect perch. There's no need to be concerned about slipping or the airbrush falling out. When I was cleaning my airbrush, it caught all of the residue. The black rubber housing that protects the glass container is one of my favorites; it adds weight and protects the glass jar that holds the spray when cleaning. It can be slipped off to clean the outside of the glass more thoroughly and then snapped back on to help protect the glass when in use. It also appears to be a badass design!.
This thing is built to last! When I'm not using my airbrush, I like to put it on the stand. I clean out the entry hole every now and then to keep my airbrush free of paint residue. Just remember to put on your PPE when spraying out at the end of your airbrushing session; even though this has a filter, fumes still escape! When it comes to airbrushing supplies, I always go straight to Iwata, and I have no regrets about paying a little more for this pot than I would have for a competitor. It's extremely well-made.
This entire experience has a high-end feel to it. The glass is thick, the rubber glass protector keeps the pot from sliding around on the desk, and the plastic cap is sturdy and does its job of keeping most of the vapor out of the air when using the brush to spray cleaner. I like how the rubber part around the pot has a slit so you can see how much liquid is left. I'm so glad I went with this one instead of a cheap knock-off. off.
This is great if you don't have anywhere to put your Airbrush or if you don't like having a cup of water next to you all the time. It's very solid and heavy, and it's made of glass rather than plastic. It also looks very nice and professional. I still think this is a nice to have rather than a necessity for air brushing, but I have no regrets about purchasing it:.
This spray out pot is a must-have because it not only allows you to squirt excess paint or cleaner into it, but it also serves as a sturdy airbrush holder. It won't fall over, and the glass is protected by a removable, non-slip covering. Rubber sleeve that prevents you from slipping. I haven't cleaned it yet, but the glass should be relatively simple to clean. I'm in the happiest of moods.
It works great but leaks. I'm assuming it's leaking from the lid, but I won't know for sure until I clean out the container it's sitting in. It does exactly what it claims to do and does not come across as cheap. Of course, it won't work with my grex pistol grip unless I modify it (thank you for the review and photos on this!). ) But, since my husband uses the other airbrushes and I'm going to learn with the grex, I might buy another one to modify just for that one.
