I'm a figure painter who is working on improving my skills. When you consider the price of these brushes, they're a great deal. Brushes are comfortable to hold, have a good tip, and unload paint well. I like that I can get four of the same size brush instead of buying a pack of ten brushes that I won't use six or seven of. As I have contacted Chloe (owner, manager, distributor? ), the customer service is excellent. ) a few times. br>The issue is with their quality assurance. I had to buy and return multiple packs to get a single good set of four brushes because one pack had brushes that didn't even appear to be the same size, and I had to buy and return multiple packs to get a single good set of four. When you finally find a good set, they perform admirably. I've been using the numbers 0 and 1 for a while now, and they've held up well. You should be aware that they will not, and should not, withstand constant use as well as a more expensive brush. br>I recently purchased a couple of DaVinci brushes, each of which cost more than this pack, and I had to return them because the tips were terrible. br>These are, in my opinion, a reliable workhorse that can be beaten to a pulp for a reasonable price. br>I gave it a 4 because I like the brush; however, if I had to rate my overall experience with finding good brushes, I'd give it a 2 or 2 and 1/2.
These brushes piqued my interest, and I couldn't wait to use them. They're fantastic. Fine lines and small curves aren't an issue. They make a strong case for what they're saying. I've paid a lot more for brushes that fell apart after a few hours of use. I put them through a seven-hour training session. br> I understand that different mediums may yield different outcomes. Acrylic paints are being used. br>I like that I can order the exact size I want rather than having to buy six different sizes to get the one I need. Having four brushes in a case is ideal, and I'll be ordering a lot more of these fantastic brushes. I'm glad I found a company that sells brushes of such high quality.
This brush set is excellent for painting military miniatures as well as for detailing on regular paintings. br>I've bought other brush sets from D' Artisan Shoppe in the past, and they're always helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have, plus they come with a lifetime warranty.
The larger triangular grip on this set alleviates the pressure. The tips are great, and there are no stray hairs. good buy.
I'll be using these for my model airplane hobby, and I'm very pleased with them! These are high-quality items. So far, everything has worked out perfectly, and I am extremely happy with these products! Everyone should use them, in my opinion.
I use acrylic, watercolor, and ink to paint realism fine detail. As of right now, I haven't attempted to use these brushes with oil.
I was hoping to fall in love with these. I was serious about it. I don't think so, but you get what you pay for, right? The brushes aren't heavy, and after just one watercolor painting, the brush will no longer go into the neat point it used to. I also use a light touch with my brushes. I am not pleased.
These brushes are ideal for fine craft projects such as miniature figures. Just make sure to wash them out with warm water and soap once you're finished.
