I had a few of these as a kid and thought it would be fun to revisit them and see what my kids thought of them. Is this a good choice for playing over the current generation of consoles? There is something great about seeing the old Transformers G2 logo in this presentation. Taking a closer look at the game, I realize it has more going for it than I anticipated. Playing as Optimus across four levels is fun. In order to reach the boss at the end of the level, you must drive forward in truck mode while deception icons pop up all over forcing you to transform into robot mode and blast them. As an Autobot Ally, you have the opportunity to obtain assistance once per level. The game can actually be made into a pretty fun mobile game with just some (a lot of) graphical updates. There's no explanation as to why it suddenly costs $30 as of the time of writing this review, I don't think it's worth the price. The game isn't perfect, but for only $15 I enjoyed it a lot and my kids have been playing it quite a bit despite the looks of disbelief.
All over the place, I see these being sold and scalped. Despite their overpriced price, they are still overpriced. You should be able to purchase them for at least $10. I don't think these should be sold for $15 like they are. The price will not be $50 as demanded by some scalpers. I understand that it is a nostalgic gift to give, but they are not made well. In spite of the reason why these rereleasings are not as well built as the Tiger handhelds made in the 90's, it's crazy to think back on them and think, "Wow, these are really well built. ". It was a bit difficult to return a few of these (Buy the four rereleases for myself and as gifts) because either the screen was damaged and had weird stains the plastic was all scratched up (I've seen black and blue on the plastic) It seems to be a problem with the battery cover specifically. It seems like a lot of other reviews are saying the same thing. Having said that, the games themselves are hardly games at all. It's not just the insane gameplay that makes these so popular. The reason you're buying those games is that you had them when you were a kid and you want to play them once It's all high score style games, and you can play it Although I must admit, I was always really impressed by them. I can't believe such a primitive and limited technology exists Calculator - an electronic device that works with numbers There is a video game made out of it as well. This is completely out of the ordinary for Every millimeter of the screen was used The images are packed to the brim with little lights that come on when required. To me, that's so creative and I have a soft spot for this kind of thing. Although they're still new in the box, there is no reason why they should be damaged during that time.
Playing it is a lot of fun, and the display is impressively busy. The style is too easy, but it definitely sounds like an era from the past.
They are so close to the originals I swear they must have had a warehouse of unsold copies An entertaining retro-style film that isn't quite good, but not bad either However, it is a nostalgic blast all the same. With the clicks there is also a satisfying aspect of ASMR It seems like there are clacking sounds when you press the buttons, but maybe I'm the only one. In any case, it's an old school return that will delight fans of the Transformers!.
It is called the "Tiger Game". Quality and fun are the same as I remember them to be from my youth, It was only worth buying because of the horrible memories attached to it. Several of these I owned as a kid, including Altered Beast. My favorite handheld Nintendo games and watches were the Game and Watch handhelds.
I like how old it is.
My kid was going to enjoy it, too. It was very nostalgic for me, but I wanted him It is simply too far in the past. Getting around it, seeing it, and being successful with it is simply too hard. doing this for kids who never got older The toys kids play with today are much better, and that does not transfer.
This was a gift for Christmas, but I was not able to open the An incomplete battery removal tool that should have been included or that should have indicated somewhere on the packaging mentioning the need for an additional tool to remove and install the battery.
