Contrary to popular belief, connecting this device to a computer is relatively simple. Because the time data is sent to your PC via audio cable, it's difficult to figure out without instructions. Instructions: br>br> br>1) Get a two-for-one deal. 5mm to 3. 2) Connect the 2. 5mm audio cablebr> 5mm at the timer's end and 3mm at the timer's beginning. 5mm end into your computer's microphone jack (note that the microphone jack is not the same as the audio jack; if your computer does not have a microphone input, you may need to purchase a microphone to USB adapter)br>3) Open cstimer. 4) Select Options - > timer - > "Entering into a period marked by: > br>5) Go to Tools - Stackmat (as shown in the screenshot)br> > Feature - > mat to stack - > Device - > and choose the appropriate input (as shown in the screenshot)br>6) Everything should now be working! Get it. time pun. It's a timer, as the name implies. My son loves to cube, but he didn't have a "real" timer like the ones he sees on YouTube videos. It was the star when he received it for his birthday! He felt like a "pro" for the first time. ) I was delighted to be able to bring him that happiness. It's also a good timer. My son is young, so he tosses it in a backpack with all of his cubes and lugs it around, and it holds up to the abuse, so I give it a thumbs up.
The timer is fine in and of itself, but it is advertised as being simple to connect to a computer for time tracking. We tried everything we could think of, including purchasing a variety of cables, only to discover that they were incompatible. Before you buy something for that purpose, make sure it's compatible.

Bought for my speed cubing-obsessed child. We used a website timer and the keyboard before we bought this, and it was a little scary having my kids bang on the spacebar for a timer, so when I got this, they were overjoyed to use it. It's small and light (a little smaller than I expected), but the time is accurate, and it has a few useful features. br>br>Excellent price/quality ratio.
Looks have been employed. This was purchased as a gift for my child who enjoys speed cubing, but it appears to have been used. I've asked several times if it's a used item with no response. The package was wrapped in plastic but did not include a box. The timer comes with a folded piece of paper that describes the item but does not include detailed instructions. This is a gift, and the overall quality of the purchase disappoints me. In addition, the timer is quite small. I gave it three stars because it appears to be a sturdy enough plastic. I'm not sure if it works because it's a gift, and it's bad enough that there isn't a box, but I might give it a try just to be sure.
Do not make a purchase. This is a complete and utter waste of time. It's very small, which I didn't expect, and it didn't work either. Half-numbers are displayed on the screen. Because mine didn't work, I was surprised by the positive feedback. I even tried out some new batteries.
It responds quickly to touch and performs consistently. The only issue we've had is that the stickers on the piece are peeling slightly, which is a minor issue. Aside from that, the product is excellent.
