Without a doubt! I have a 4 year old who thinks it's just fun screen time, but I assure you it's highly educational as well. All while playing a fun game, they practice essential skills. It's fun for him to play all the different games that require different movements and buttons! It is a favorite of his and mine as well!
Thank you so much for your request. If you plug in headphones, the device will work. Please accept my best regards, VTechkids
A big thank you from me to you, Calyssa! That part of the game has been just as frustrating for my child for almost a year now! It just seems like she's stuck on the wheel every time she plays that game. The rest of our family didn't know how to solve this mystery! Then I showed her how to do it by getting her off the wheel and showing her what to do.

The post had over 50 helpful likes by other users. It leaves me with a bad feeling, since I felt like the company didn't like my review. In the end, if your kid is already familiar with the iPad, do not let him/her use this device. This was a gift for my children (ages 4 and 5) because I thought they would enjoy this device. Here is a little background information Kids in my household are familiar with iPads and love playing games on them. As naive as I thought they would be, I believed this device would be an instant hit with them. Although the games look fun, they are really rudimentary and unintuitive compared to the majority of iPad games. The app wouldn't be appropriate for kids who have been exposed to the The pros are The following *br The concept is great. The following *br Play a game that is cool for people who have never played one The cons are The following *br Costs a lot
- A child who has played games on a tablet before may not find them captivating.
The disappointment I feel is so deep. Although I am a full-time gamer, most of the "games" are incomprehensible and super frustrating for me Since the controls are not always responsive, and the games do not have a very educational flavor. In addition, they are somewhat am sorry to sound unenthusiastic because I had really been looking forward to this release and I usually adore Leapfrog products The book is very good, but does not recommend purchasing it. It even has an ad for the additional content you need to pay for built right into it I hate your bad manners! In fairness, I haven't given it to my 4 year old yet as I wanted to see how it works before visiting my daughter I suspect he'll want to play with it anyway, and that way he won't be disappointed by the lack of a touch screen like on my tablet or phone. The tablet is perfectly functional if it has a touch screen (in which case I'll update this). There is no doubt that it is very important to invest in the Leapfrog Leapstart system These are his favorite, since they have real educational value (and are free of advertisements). This week's update I'm having a difficult time getting my 4 year old to play and explore this (for now), but I've been trying to add the new game packs to update it, but it has been a labor of love. I will be completely honest here Using a mifi meant I couldn't see what the download looked like, so a WiFi connection would likely be less disturbing The following is the FTP URL Update )
It pains me to admit that my two oldest kids, ages 4 and 9, are crazy about this video. There is no reason why I want to give this I am a mean mom, so it might not be a 5 star.
I am six years old The year is I received this as a birthday gift for my 6 year old and she was thrilled There were some pretty enticing ads This is the first time she has used it (she's good with electronics and You have to work with it strangely and it's confusing. This is not worth the effort. It would have been nice if I had.
The leapfrog items she had as a toddler were a favorite of our granddaughter. Her brother was 7 so it only made sense to look for leapfrog! There are a lot of cool features here! features was a rechargeable system with a cord! Our grandson loves to have his own "handheld" gaming and learning system (sneaky grandma). This one includes sight words, learning to spell, and four ways of selecting options or navigating. He liked them even more than Leapfrog's learning systems for his sister! Modules are available for expansion!.
I recently finished watching the movie, "7) back in April, but I wanted to wait for a while to write Already there are a bunch of games preloaded on the product, and I ordered all of the separate game packs as well. One of the things that I like about this product is that it allows users to upload purchased game packs to multiple rocket twists, so they do not need to purchase individual games for each. Another reason is that this product has a rechargeable battery (unlike some of the other leapfrog items I own). Although I've read some reviews that say this product should not be purchased if your child is already accustomed to an iPad, I respectfully disagree with that statement. I have two children who are adept at using phones, tablets, laptops, Ds's, ect. And they have both loved this product. It's been their favorite toy for the past couple All of this depends on the child, I truly believe. Watch some YouTube videos of the different games for the device to find out if your child might enjoy it. If you are unsure, I highly recommend going to YouTube to watch some videos of the games.
This was what we were looking for, an incredible little handheld that has more games than I expected, because some of them have mini-games. Definitely favor the fact that it has zero (0) WiFi connection, one that s ensures peace of mind for parents who are worried about their children being vulnerable. My little one does have a kids tablet (which is heavily monitored), but she favored this handheld game rather than the tablet because it offered better and more fun games. As part of the overall package, it is very sturdy, and the buttons also seem like they are very well made. There are additional gaming packs you can purchase, but with the games already comprised of the "twist," they will have a lot to do for awhile. To top it all off, it is rechargeable, and comes with the cord, so not having to change any batteries out is fantastic, and the cage will last for quite a while before having to charge it. My daughter's cage lasted over 6 hours before she even charged it. The following tip is for parents These game packs will serve as rewards for students who earn good grades.
