It's made to look like the glass on an old overhead. It's a recreation of the old arcade monitor. I have enjoyed all of the games, except for the first 4 or 5 classic games. They are fun and always related to Stranger Things. The cons include The volume can only be set to two levels. Neither a button nor a dial are available to operate There's a menu item for it. The one thing I don't like about it. In general, it was a great arcade experience. I am so glad you like.
Even though several of the Stranger Things games are quite decent, and both of my sons have enjoyed playing them, as well as the four included Namco games, I've been disappointed in their implementation. It differs in sound and timing (sound and video are out of sync, video appears to slow down and speed I was specifically disappointed by Dig Dug, a game I could not play because it does not function A boulder cannot be dug underneath and held up to be released later because they fall and crush you the moment they touch ground. I am including a video of the malfunction, as well as video of the actual Dig Dug arcade game to show how it SHOULD behave. The videos have been combined because Amazon allows only.
It was a slam dunk of a purchase for me, because I am a huge Stranger Things fan, a kid from the 80s, loved arcades and collect old handheld gaming systems. I enjoy the money I pay for it (it was under $30 at the time of writing) and find it a cool Stranger Things collectible My expectations for the games fell way short of what I expected. A total of 20 games are available, most of them newly created Games that are set in an 80s arcade but are themed after Stranger Things. The 15 games (or so) don't bother me in the least. With licensed games, I feel like I've been ripped off. For more than 30 years, there have been perfect versions A faithful recreation of this ancient game can be done with tiny amounts of processing power). As a result, the version plays very slowly, has a few hiccups, and while it looks pretty cool, it plays far worse than any other version I have seen (yes, At least that one is smooth to play). A smaller "mini arcade" version of just PacMan is also in my collection, and for comparison, it plays almost as good as the original arcade. Despite not being a purist, I think that if a game is not even playable, then it is just an interactive and fun collectible, but falls short of my expectations. As a conclusion, it is a fine little collectible toy and would make a fine gift for almost any nerd, but don't expect to enjoy the licensed games (or at least don't expect them to play anywhere near as well as the.
The game has full versions (as far as I can tell) of classics such as Pacman and Digdug, and they look great. Considering the low bit-rate of the speakers and the single speaker, the sound quality is surprisingly good and crisp You can rate the In the "original" games, you play variations on things like Frogger and the like. These types of games tend to feel kind of cheap compared to the originals, but they're still fun. There are only two things I have to complain about The following *br There is no option for an adapter, only batteries are available. The following *br I think the screen is just a tad too small, even magnified. The following *br However, some of the buttons make a strange noise when pressed, and sometimes, they stick. In my opinion, fans of retro, Stranger Things fans, or people who enjoy nostalgia should check it out. There's a ton of fun to be had! make sure you It should be priced below MSRP. The device is not up there with the best retro devices at higher prices, and this one isn't.
As a Christmas gift, I bought this for my wife because she's a fan of Galaga and we're both fans of There are four games known so far and 16 like Stranger Things As well as reminding me of old arcade games, it also reminds me of The sound on HI volume is too loud, so I highly recommend turning it down in the settings.
' This is a very cheap looking style. There are a lot of problems with the controls. $5 is the maximum I am willing to pay. If you want the micro cabinets instead, you should get 'My Arcade' This is a much better deal.
The first one I purchased was for my nephew who loves Stranger Things, and I have since purchased two more one for a kid who also enjoys the show and another who is just a huge arcade game fan. The fact that there is two different sound settings is great so that when necessary the volume can be adjusted. It's great to have a portable console that doesn't require WiFi. The games run well on it and it's really convenient not to use The kids I teach are 10 and 11 years old, so they like this a lot.
I don't think the gameplay is so great on this cute little device. It's a novelty item and a good conversation piece, though. This is all I have to say. Instead of paying for games for your smart phone, try saving your money.
