Great product. On the reverse side of Checker pieces is a King symbol, which is a plus since many checkers do not have them. Look, feel, and function are both wonderful on the cloth board. (And so do I!) This set is a big hit with my grandson!.
It's not that the checks themselves are bad, but it's the cloth board. It was woven checkers that I had as a kid (just like those you get at This is not the same as what I expected, since instead of woven markings, it looks almost like paint on the cloth. In case the mat is stretched out too much, it may make the markings on the board appear overstretched. However, I didn't find the quality to be up to par with my expectations. It gets the job done, and I enjoy teaching my kids the game of checkers.
Since we like it so much, we continue to play the Tic Tac Toe game over and over again! You will enjoy this film as much as I do if you buy it.
