It was a lot of fun, but it didn't last

It was a good Christmas gift for my daughter. We played in a group of 5 together and enjoyed it very much. Generally, the trivia questions range from super simple to rather obscure, and most of the "scene shot" questions are pretty obviously worded (which may be good if you're playing with younger Those who enjoy dance are the ones who should answer the questions A practiced approach. Our experience with at-home dancing games is that it is nearly impossible to get the dance moves right without the DVD option that teaches you the steps beforehand ("crash course"). There is nothing more to it than a 10 second timer. There is only one complaint I have about the game the questions quickly became repetitive. Even during It has happened once to me twice that the same question appeared. I assume these questions are generated at random. (Some of my kids have gotten annoyed by the fact that one of them gets trivia questions almost always, while another keeps getting dance questions. Mrs. Darvis' voice does work wearying after awhile, but at least you can hit the enter button on the remote after she has answered the question, so you will be able to choose the next player or ask another question instead of listening to the same remarks over and over. My overall opinion is that the step-by-step approach is the biggest plus The following are instructions on how to learn PARTS of the dance I tell them to get 'cha head in the game, and 'We're All in this Together' (steps for the chorus part and the Wildcat Breakdown chant), but my children love to dance all the time. It's a great idea, but I think it would have had a longer shelf life if it wasn't made in a digital By doing so, trivia questions could be packaged in booster packs.

I think she is way over the top for cuteness! This was a very enjoyable experience. There is a single complaint I have, and that is that at first glance we couldn't find a "Party Play" option though comparable Scene-making apps have such an option The game is quite entertaining. There may have been something on the DVD, but there wasn't anything instantly apparent when we put it in for the party for my daughter. Other than that, it was a blast. What's the best gift you've ever received? YES! That's good to know!.

A 4 and 6 year old can do all categories, but not one

My girls (then ages 4 and 6) have watched High School Musical nonstop and so I bought them this book. In addition to the lyrics, it has trivia questions and a section where you can look at pictures of movie scenes to find out if anything has changed since the movie was filmed. All of these categories pique their interest, and they have a lot of knowledge about each one, but they cannot answer one category in any detail An extremely short dance clip is shown with a blacked-out background It was a 10 second black-out, and you had to say what specific dance move was going to take place in those In case your kids don't learn the steps to all the dances in advance, they will always lose their turn if a dance question is asked. To the point where they do not finish a game, my girls become frustrated by this. The kids enjoy playing it otherwise, especially when they have friends.

My daughter and I arrived on time. The program was good, but I think the dance sequence questions are too difficult for this age group. A few of the game pieces were damaged on the box but none to the pieces themselves.
