I have two children, one of whom is four years old and the other of which is two years old. Finding fake nail polish as a five-year-old is like finding gold! This nail polish set has wowed me tremendously. The nail polish bottles are empty and have been painted in the desired color. The display made of clear acrylic is adorable. When you use the nail clipper, it does indeed make a clipping sound, but it does not cut. The nail dryer is my absolute favorite item in this set; it requires batteries, but it can be turned on, and the UV purple light adds to the realism. When it came to creating this set, they made sure to pay close attention to the details. My only wish is that the acrylic display could hold all of the pieces, but this is a minor quibble. This toy is incredible!.
For my daughter's birthday, I purchased this playset. When she first tried it, a piece of the cover broke off when she opened the lid for the blush. I'm sorry to say that after only using her toy once, I had to throw it away. It's a sweet idea, but it's not without flaws.
Do not hesitate to give or purchase a Melissa and Doug product if you haven't already! These items are not only extremely detailed, but they are also fantastic for encouraging a child's imagination to run wild! We all know that most children these days are terrified of technology, but imagination is still an important skill for any child to develop. Melissa and Doug appear to have struck the perfect balance of fun, excitement, imaginative play, and pretending. You can't go wrong with any of the items, and this one is even better than we expected! (You'll also need AA batteries for the nail dryer, which has an LED light. ) ) They appeared to have gotten pretty much everything, as if I had gone to the salon to get my nails done! I adore you so much! It's just in time for the upcoming holiday season!.
I am six years old. br>Gave it to my four-year-old granddaughter, who was thrilled! It was a toy that I never got tired of playing with. Excellent gift of the imagination. She enjoys putting on make-up and pretending to be a make-up artist; it's only make-up, so no color will come off or on you. This present is a SUCCESS!.
Melissa and Doug are one of my favorite couples. I wanted to get something for my little one to play with while I was getting ready because she loves to play in my makeup. I like how it's all made of plastic but appears to be real. The only reason I docked a star is that the whole shebang falls apart almost every time we open it.
Two years old. This has become a fascination for my two-year-old daughter. Her five-year-old brother and she enjoy putting make-up on each other as well as the rest of the family! I'm fine with it because there won't be any mess! What a sweet present!.
So I thought I'd get her this to keep her occupied. Even though it didn't work, she adores this toy. I'd say that out of all of her toys (and she has a LOT! ), I'd say that she has the most fun with them. ) This is probably one of her top three favorites, which she uses on a regular basis. She even tries to put "makeup" on my husband and me, as well as her own face. It's incredibly charming. I was concerned that she was younger than the recommended age, but you can remove some of the pieces if you believe they are too small. I wish the tray would stay attached a little better, but this is an excellent toy overall! I'd recommend it to any young lady who is interested in cosmetics.
The lid of the "eyeshadow" came off within the first day and will not stay on. The make-up kit will not stay together because the arm is constantly falling down. This one was a huge let down!.
