It should be able to withstand a lot of use, in my opinion. Tops screw on and off, compacts open and close, and there are brushes on the end of a tube of ostensibly lip gloss and fingernail polish, as well as three real brushes and an eyeshadow wand enclosed in the 'eyeshadow. ' 'The 'lipstick' twists back and forth. Due to large, easy-to-pull tabs, the faux leather case zips and unzips easily. In this game, there are a lot of small motor skills that are being used. My granddaughter was completely engrossed in the activity. She spent the entire afternoon applying "makeup" to her dolls, herself, and Grandma. So, if you're concerned about gender stereotyping, take note of my gender-neutral review, let all interested children play with this item, and refrain from complimenting the makeup recipient on how pretty she looks after the phony application! Pretend play is working imagination, and imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. It's so much better than wasting time in front of the television!!.

(I've lost a lot of my stuff this way. ) I used to buy them their own cheap stuff, but then I came across this. It has a very realistic appearance as well as a very realistic feel to it. Nothing feels like hard plastic, even at the top of the lipstick, like the other sets I've seen. Mom comes out on top.

I started looking for a play makeup set for her in the hopes of avoiding a mess and a clean-up every time we played "makeover. " This one appealed to me because it includes all of the essential cosmetics that I keep in my makeup bag, as well as the fact that it appeared to be real. The photos don't do it justice; it's a stunning set. I'm blown away by how well the pieces are constructed. They're extremely durable, of exceptional quality, and incredibly realistic in appearance, not to mention functional. A real puff is included in the "powder foundation. " I believe the lipstick is made of rubber and moves up and down. Even though the nail polish is empty, she can pretend to paint her nails with the brush. The lip gloss is also empty, but it looks and feels exactly like a real lip gloss. A brush-on eyeshadow, a blush, and a glitter container are also included. This set includes three different-sized makeup brushes that are super soft on the skin and haven't shed like my own cheaply made brushes have in the past. The cosmetic case is lovely, holds all of the makeup in the set and more, and is simple to open and close for my three-year-old. This set is so well made and beautiful that I can't say enough good things about it. My daughter enjoys it so much that she now "gets ready" with mommy with her own makeup every morning! If you're looking for a pretend makeup set for your child, I can assure you that this one will not disappoint.

I'm so glad I went shopping for pretend makeup and found this set. It was purchased for my niece, who is two and a half years old. Her five-year-old sister had recently received a handcrafted vanity and several children's makeup sets. I ordered this set in the hopes that the little one wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the real and fake makeup. When we first opened it, she immediately began playing with it. Along with this item, I ordered a real make-up kit for the 5-year-old from Amazon, assuming she would prefer real make-up. The real makeup was NOT created by the same company that produces this product!! We threw it in the trash after 10 minutes of play because it was terrible and she was immediately disappointed. The five-year-old set aside the real makeup and began to play with the make-believe makeup. Of course, this enraged the two-and-a-half-year-old. I told the five-year-old that I was going to order a set of this makeup for her. For more than a half hour, my sister, both nieces, and I all played with this makeup, and it held both of their attention. They would have played with it for a longer period of time if we hadn't had to run errands. The quality of this makeup is incredible. It has a realistic feel and appearance, and it appears to be made of high-quality materials that will withstand toddler abuse. This product is one of my favorite purchases I've ever made for my nieces, and I can't say enough good things about it. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable activity for their little girls to purchase this product. I'm going to order another set so that each of my nieces has her own.

year- It's a hit with my nine-year-old niece. We spent countless hours applying "makeup" to each other. " I love how realistic the makeup looks, right down to the slight pressure felt when opening and pulling out the lipgloss wand, and the best part is that the "makeup" is made of foam, so there's no mess. " This toy is ideal for the little one who enjoys messing around with Mommy's make-up. I had a few friends ask for the product link after I posted a picture of the set on Instagram so they could check it out for themselves. This is something I strongly suggest!.
