This is like a sturdy cardboard box but it is very pretty & appealing I know. Sweet. There's nothing I love more than these toys & books for my daughters I am surprised at how well they are holding up! If I were to give it as a gift with a necklace, I would definitely buy it again. you are looking for something cute for young children, this is just right.

This lasted only a short time

This was a cheaply made product, but understandable for the price. We bought two for Christmas, so I believe it was a good buy. The one that arrived severely dented belonged to each girl. Returning things to the store turns out not to be worth the hassle due to the price of the item. When the other jewelry box was opened and closed, it broke. Immediately after removing bracket from back, it fell off. Neither will I recommend them nor buy them. It will be necessary to replace this cheaply constructed item with one that is more expensive.
