My granddaughter loves blue, so I bought this for her! The blue version of these jewelry boxes is hard to come by. There are also some ballerinas that look very cheap. It is a perfect fit and the song is one she already knows. It is a tough box for the materials it is made of. reminded me of my childhood and having a jewelry box with the ballerina in it.

It was the price and the mother's suggestion that this be a gift for your 6 year old daughter that caught my attention. Although the picture appears to give you the impression that it is rectangular, in reality, it is more like a cubic shape that is much smaller than you might have.

It is very sturdy and will make a great gift. I gave this to my 3 yr old daughter. She loves it. She can easily turn the music box and puts her play jewelry in it.
