It meant i took a risk and knew there would be not a lot of protection, so I was ok with that. As much as I would like Amazon to do better at packaging dolls like this one, I hope there will not be any damage for me when I receive the My experience with her has been positive! For $25, I think that's a good price!.
There is always a sense of cheapness about them. I would definitely recommend this doll over some I've purchased from Walmart. My daughter is a doll freak, per se, so she wants an assortment of dolls she can choose from. I have a tough time settling for anything less than the best. I would describe it as okay for me. There's nothing more important than the fact that she loves it. My favorite thing about this doll is that it Her eyebrows seem almost too long for her face and are not shaped naturally, but that adds to the glitz. There is a clear difference between Disney store barbies and those in other stores. It would be nice if I could catch a sale instead of buying Hasbro.
My question is how the fashion is supposed to be more contemporary or sophisticated than what it is. This dress is made with a very cheap material (more like spun plastic), the design is simple, and the color scheme is a fairly standard one for girls. I am most annoyed by the hair, which is extremely poor quality. There are so many roots that they can be seen through it. My family isn't big Disney fans, but I doubt even the most dedicated one would want to put this doll on display at their home. I would expect a doll meant to be a collectible to have articulation, but this one lacks it. For the quality of this doll, I feel that the price was incredibly high. Although having a nice box is all very well and good, the product inside should reflect that same level of polish. This doll was purchased because of the pretty face paint on her, and I must say I am satisfied with it.
Photographs and box pictures of the doll show it to be very beautiful. You realize quickly, however, how cheaply made this doll is when you open the box and take it out. Since it is made of thin plastic, its arms and legs won't last very long. It is not possible for the legs to bend at all. Her cheaper materials also cause her to be very light. The curiosity got the best of me about the box, and I opened it. I wish I could have returned this doll. It also looks unnatural and as if the eyelashes are too long. It is not a well made product. She will probably remain on display for a long time to come. I love dolls, but this one is not well made.
A great book (one of the best!). My most favorite Ariel doll and it has been a long time since I bought it. The hair is Tier 1 and is very easy to work and style with no frizzing or tangling. Add some water or moose when brushing your hair and she will appear Brand New! The quality of this product is amazing! Bought a second one to give as a present.
This is a perfect collectible doll for her! It was a huge hit with her. It looks exactly like the picture, arrived quickly, and is in excellent condition.
My daughter deserved it more than I did, but I almost kept it for myself in the box.
The wrists, elbows, and other parts of the body are movable and posable on these dolls.
