These should be renamed Calico Crack Critters. You. must. . have. . more. cuteness! On YouTube Kids, my six-year-old sees people open and play with these. And she's after all of them. I must admit that I think they're absolutely adorable. It's possible that I was also messing around with them. These dolls have a lot of attention to detail - Their puffy tails and small ears are adorable. Lovely outfits. Glasses! Adorbs! These, along with the main rabbit family and their twin babies, were among the items I purchased. They are definitely not inexpensive. I had an extended family of eight for less than $60. With all of the adorable homes, cars, shops, and furnishings. yeah. To support our new addiction, Daddy needs a night job. br>br>I adore these, and my daughter does as well. They are, however, quite expensive. I'm saving money by buying the Calico dolls, but I'm spending more money on the Woodzeez shops and furniture - They're the same size and look just like the originals, but they're about a third of the price.
br>However, I wish the glasses would stay in place. They don't fit together well and slide off the face easily. I've actually put the glasses away to avoid losing them, and my four-year-old doesn't seem to mind. The grandparents are slightly smaller than the standard 'adult' size critters, if that bothers anyone. However, he is still taller than the children.
This is my first purchase from Calico Critters, and I must say that I am very pleased. This is one of the most adorable toys I've ever purchased! They're adorable and well-made, and while they're a little pricey, I think the quality is excellent. They look almost exactly like the ones I used to play with in the early 1980s. It's so adorable. The attention to detail is fantastic.
They've made an excellent addition to my collection. I used to have these as a kid in the 1980s, and seeing them in the store brought back so many memories. These were purchased for use in my homemade dollhouse. They're a perfect match for me and remind me of my parents, which is even better.
All I can say is that I became addicted to them after purchasing the first one. I'm slowly collecting them and putting them aside for when my new baby niece is old enough to enjoy them. Part of me hopes she will love them and want to play with them, but I must admit that another part of me wants to keep them and display them in the spare bedroom. They're pricey, but thanks to Amazon discounts, points, and gift cards, I've never had to pay full price. I admire their attention to detail as well as the variety of family sets they've assembled. Keep the high-tech beeping toys at home and encourage your child to use his or her imagination.
These little critters were a hit with my niece. Calico Critters, to be sure, she'd never seen or heard of them. Is there no animated film? ), but I quickly became enamored of them. They're high-quality toys that can be posed, and their extremely high-quality clothing can be swapped out for different looks. These things had a lot of attention to detail, which I really appreciated. She had them talking to each other and having adventures as soon as they were out of the packaging. These were purchased to match the Calico Critters school bus. These critters' glasses are made of two delicate plastic pieces that come undone far too easily. Even if the glasses are properly attached by the plastic hook, they do not fit snugly on the face and move upward. Overall, the quality of both the school bus and the critters appears to be low. I would not buy it again.
