There is only one shortcoming for this set, which is the dinosaur's hind legs. It's a terrific set and I recommend it to anyone who has a child who enjoys both dolls and dinosaurs. At the hip joints, there are ratcheted swivels that help stabilize the figure, but it is very hard to get it to stand on its own. Getting it to match the Goldilocks leg configuration will keep it that way, but it can be frustrating to play with it also has a very pokey tail. Though articulation or a flexible material in the tail would have improved this figure significantly, I cannot tell how this compares to dinosaur figures that are similarly sized and priced. There is no damage to the doll The design is all too generic and poorly made, but it is colorful and made. This is a big hit with my dinosaur-loving 3 year old! Dinosaurs are a good size, and the doll sits on his back easily. The head moves independently of the neck and the arms are well made. There are a lot of pieces in this set, and my daughter enjoys feeding the dinosaurs. I love it!.
