Decks that are decent and for a good price
4/5

However, they are very complex to run, and not for everyone. It was pretty easy for me to play Magic in the past. In my capacity as student, I had the opportunity to pick up these cards, delve into the deck, and learn the strategy to run them. These are not good decks to use for a new player (with the exception of the White and Green decks). The Black slack rope was difficult for my wife to use as she tried to teach my kids how to play. Her next attempt was with the blue one then the red one, but she still struggled both times (the kids are using the white and green ones, and we are picking up quickly). My final purchase was the Core Starter Deck. These will be kept for rebuilding and running in the future.

This is a great deal! This set stands alone well and is great It is a board game based on the Magic the Gathering franchise
5/5

Over the last twenty years, I have been playing the guitar. It was once a time when my decks were competitive, and I spent a lot of money on cards. The cost of buying the cards you need to complete your deck stopped me from playing for a variety of reasons, one of which was the high costs involved. When you build your own decks, even if you are not competitive, even when you can purchase any card on the Internet, your play group can fast become sucked into an arms race type of vicious cycle. An ethnic group. I love playing the game, but I hate the hustle involved in buying low powered, high priced cards to compete. Generally speaking, a few players buy extreme power cards, and everyone else has to buy equally powerful (and expensive) cards to stay competitive. As well as being able to play my custom decks with friends who did not collect cards, who might be beginners, or who might not be able to play them due to their complexity, I wanted the game to be accessible to everyone. I had this thought many years ago to buy an entire series of base-plates with the intention of translating them into English Due to their introductory nature, they all have the same decks Friendship and balance between the two seems to be well balanced. As I have done for 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th edition, it has worked My experience with players who didn't have cards and who didn't have their cards with them allowed me to play many games with The game was a great learning experience for me since I had the opportunity to teach so many people. All in all, they were great successes. I think this Game Night set is better than the original. The price of a base set with five decks is $7 if you buy them like I did in the past. The cost of each 40 card deck is $99, so you wouldn't receive a spin The 40 cards are the only ones down, no die or tokens. Each five was $40 for me and my friend They didn't even get a full set of decks for each edition. In this Game Night set, you get five 60-card decks for only $32 as of when this review was written, PLUS you get five spinners for free! There are 15 token cards and a rules book included in the set, PLUS out of the box you get the die that costs $1 or more. Icing on the cake, it all fits into an attractive board game box that looks great and unique on a shelf with other.

The decks are balanced nicely for two people A total of five Both my husband and I have played Magic the Gathering for quite some time (him for quite a while It was a great set to try out because we have gaming friends who wanted to play a three or more player game
5/5

What I have to say is as an amateur. Some of the standalone decks we have purchased are more complex than the stand alone decks we The two games have a good balance between them regardless of whether they are played by 2 or five players. Adding five decks to your order at an unbeatable price is another plus. In addition to our 6 and 8 year old children, we also played with our 7 and 12-year old children. It is easy to play with these decks for a good amount of time. As far as I can remember, I've never seen someone use their overpowering skills to defeat another player. With the extra pieces, such as the die, counters, and tokens, the game becomes easier to learn for beginners. That is definitely something I would do. This would be a good starting point for groups or as a light play for a class.

Starting Myst is one of the best ways to play the game
5/5

The simplest and most effective way to start playing Magic is with this card. You will also be able to resell the card for more than its cost, even if you do not.

It is a great product, but the box is damaged
3/5

Besides the fact that it is a good game, my son bought this because of This can be done in two ways 1. To teach others how to play without having to worry about deck construction for each member The reason is to allow those who are not interested in collecting cards to occasionally play. If the box hadn't been damaged, I would have given it five stars. had been shrink wrapped, but when we removed the shrink wrap we found one entire corner had been smashed and one side had been The box the product was packaged in had no filler to stop it from getting knocked around, so it was probably damaged in transit. In the event that I had received this as a gift, I would have been disappointed. I felt bad for my son, but he chose to deal with it and duct taped it together right away.

An all-encompassing product that is suitable for players of all calibers, from novice to expert
5/5

For getting together with peers and family members where some members can play with more skill and others can play with less skill. Having a deck like this helps level the playing field so that everyone can enjoy the game without feeling defeated by an opponent who built a monster deck over the course of years.

Both cards are the same! The specifics of the review received a three-star rating There are rares included in this set
3/5

We did not realize they come with the same cards until I bought two of these for my boyfriend. I had to become my own advocate, unless we beat astronomical odds & he had to be my advocate It just so happened that the 2 sets we received included the same cards. For the same person, I would recommend buying only one of these mythicals. But apart from that, I would not recommend buying more than 1 of these. These decks are fine, but they aren't anything particularly remarkable. The life tokens are an attractive gimmick, and the color-coded d20's are useful, but there isn't a lot to write home about. Booster packs cost much less than this, so you can get much better value for the money.

Games that are balanced, easy to play, and for casual players
4/5

The game is NOT meant to be played competitively or in a FNM. When playing Magic, it is ideal if you want to play with a relatively balanced deck. Magic's monetary scheme made me quit the company a long time ago. As a result, this was an easy purchase for me since I was reintroducing myself to quick competitive card and board games. There is a magic itch that it scratches. You still have to play Magic the Gathering. Among all the games out there, there are infinitely more that are SO MUCH better. The product states what it does on the box, so it gets 4 stars. There is nothing noteworthy about it.
