Questions & Answers

Do the instructions and reference cards need to be corrected?

Everything is perfect and playable in my copy I got in January of this year. As far as I can tell, all that needs to be changed is the 4 reference cards that list the "safety", "hazard" and "remedy" options, not the playing cards themselves. If you cross out and re-write those words, it is not an issue since it is not an actual card that can be played, just an option listing

How easy is it to follow the ?

The game is easy for me most of the time. I've played it for years, so it is a second nature to me. You'll get cheat cards for the stop and safety cards as well as easy to follow instructions. The most fun I have ever had playing a game.

Could this actually be the product that's pictured in the picture? I remember someone playing cards without river dragons. I'm not sure exactly how they played. ?

There seems to be a problem with the images My guess is that someone made a mistake here, as I remember it being true the former day. Having seen it in our store, I can say that it is Milles Borne, a card game produced by Asmodee, and that we sell and have it with us. My request to Amazon to replace the images will be sent shortly. I call Dave

Is there any reason for the picture to have changed? The order I placed does not appear to be affected, because I ordered "Mille Bornes", not this River Dragon fodder ?

The original order must have been misread by someone in order processing. No such thing as an 'old dragon' or a 'river' exists in Mille Bornes. There is a word or warning, Mille Borns has the original graphics in the cute little tin box from 1962, not the modernized version from the 80's and 90's, but the rules in the enclosed 'rule book' contain errors as to how to The original rules are used in this great game.

A great game I played when I was a child You're the best! The game was one I played as a kid, and I remembered it now
5/5

It's great I found it! Do not be confused by those who refer to it as a "travel game. " The idea is based on road travel Travel on a trip. A car is not the place to play with it. Traveling in a car for 1000 miles is used as the basis for the calculation. A Mille Borne is a French term for a thousand milestones. To play mileage cards up to 1000, you need to be at the highest level. Hazard Cards include Flat Tire and Out of Gas. This will temporarily slow you down. You can also be stopped entirely if you are hit with a "Speed Limit" card. The Remedy Cards like "Spare Tire" and "Gas" help you get back on the road as well as the Safety Cards like "Puncture Proof" or "Fuel Tanker" because they can protect your vehicle. There is a similarity if not exact similarity between this game and the American card game "Touring". I recommend you buy This is something you won't regret!.

The classic game is fun, but the scoresheets are I played this game years ago with my family and found it to be great When the cards were introduced, they actually had French labels, however the pictures made it very easy for the learner to understand the meaning
4/5

Unlike most games, this one remains a piece of fun and value for a while. In this version, however, a big problem is the lack of score sheets inside.

That is an extremely It would be helpful if you could find this in any previous edition, print it, When playing the various cards, you need to lay them out on the table in the manner described and illustrated in the missing instructions. In this way, you and the other players can keep tabs on the situation as well as progress, which is essential It's a game based on drawing cards from a pile and choosing what to do with them, so that element of strategy keeps it from just being a game of luck. It's one of those games that has a broad appeal and can be played by both young people and adults alike. You can find those score sheets online that the manufacturer neglects to include that are important to the scoring process. Thank you -.

There was one Several of our friends have played this game for years, so we bought it to play it with them
3/5

Having fun playing this game is a real treat. It is because this set does not come with any score sheets that it earned 3 stars in this review. I find it a pretty complex game that is full of specific items that you get points for without any kind of tutorial (or explanation) about how the system A few score sheets were included in my friend's older set, so he at least knew what to do. The score sheets we made after consulting our friends' sheets and researching online should have been made automatically we shouldn't have had to make our own. The scoresheets that games usually come with are very useful!.

Having played this game since I was a kid, I have always loved it
3/5

I have played this game for a long time with friends and family, and I have spent hours playing it with them. My grandkids were so excited about the newer version that I ordered it for them. It was a four-player game for the first time. It was impossible for anyone to win any mileage cards since there weren't enough. The last time I experienced this was a few years back. In the end, I had to buy a second game (found at a store) and add a few mileage cards to the first one to make it playable. As well as repair cards, since we had spent half of the game looking for the right card, we added some of our own. One other disappointing thing about the cards was that they were Having learned the French terms for "speed limit" and so forth as a kid, I thought it was pretty cool. After this experience, I became intrigued by foreign languages, and I studied French throughout my school and college years. Overall, this is a wonderful game, but the replay value isn't what it should be A few issues are present in this issue.

This is a nice version of a game that was mostly forgotten
5/5

Taking the form of a card game, this Eurocentric hit is a car race Waterworks can often be lumped together with this category. In this game, you race opponents, through speed zones, traffic lights, and flat tires. The opposing team throws obstacles in your path, such as an OUT OF GAS card, and if you don't have petrol, (or a tanker truck) you are doomed! Probably best for kids 11 and up, as the print on this edition is quite fine. Some of it, without glasses and sometimes even with them, is not easy to read. There are many Play cards [miles traveled, Gas / Essence, Flaf Fires, etc. ] with bold graphics so that players can still play Glasses Off, for those who remember how much fun it was to play it MILLIONS (Miles or kilos) TRAVELLED is the French term for thousands. Moreover, if you are the first to 1000 points, the game is over For the ACTUAL winner to be determined, you must add up all the points gathered for each distance covered, for the Specialty Cards, and more. There are just a few tense TALLY MOMENTS at the end of the book.

This is primarily for others to know that it appears that the reference cards have been printed correctly since June, 2015. It is good that we just bought one.

A fun game for the whole family
5/5

While growing up in the 80s and 90s, my family used to play this game together, making it a favorite. Since it has the same graphics as my original Parker Bros version, I love it. There is only one difference in the words they are in English rather than It still makes it a bit more approachable for newcomers. The French is my preference for nostalgic reasons, but the English works just as well. The wife became proficient at the game after I taught her how to play, then kicked my butt like 5 times After not playing for 20 years, it was obvious I had rusty hands.

It is a game that I used to play with my children when they were young. snapped it up because it was offered as a suggestion to me while taking French classes. The rating I had to give was - Hence a 1 star rating There could not be any stars, so I could not submit!.
